    It may be fine for some applications but did not seem to communicate as effectively as desired to get the worship music program to function with the mirrored screen for monitoring on the laptop with projecting only the current slide on the external screen with the slide menu on the laptop .

    I do NOT like the ChromeCast Ultra. This is the deal: I love Google and I love Chrome and I even love ChromeCast that's built into my TV. This product though was terrible. Always remember you could get a bad or defective device but I just decided to return it and not get another. I bought this for my parents to use for their TV and it wouldn't get the job done good enough. Casting was awful and wouldn't load and using a phone to connect and play still seems to be behind. Maybe in a few years this product will be better or maybe my parents will get a better smart TV but the unit I bought didn't do the job for me. I would cast and connect but it was really bad connectivity and the internet I have is amazing and fast so I don't know why this didn't work well. As I said I hope it was just a bad unit.

    Nice affordable media player to broadcast video from phone to the TV. But FireTV is becoming the same price range and comes with a remote now and that's why I probably won't recommend this to my friend.
