It is a very good product to have. It works great.

Unlike other devices such as AppleTV, Amazon and FireTV, this seems to only come in handy when I want to throw YouTube videos on a friend or family TV. Beware, there are issues where it can temporarily take down your Wifi (A fix is being worked in).

I got this as a gift for my son,and he loves it !!

Works well with Netflix, but not with Amazon video

Bought this hoping to expand my cord cutting experience. I have one of the fastest speed internet connections, yet picture quality is quite poor. In fact, same channel, same tv show, same tv, switched back to my Roku, quality of picture much better.

Bought with Yamaha Stereo based on advice from sales person at BB. Did not do anything for connectivity of stereo receiver and when plugged into LG TV provide minimal connectivity and hands free capabilities.

This does the same exact thing as the original version. I bought it during quarantine and just couldn't return it. Save your money and buy the cheaper one

I bought this to stream my Apple TV+ from my iPad but you can't do that. If you are looking to stream a particular service you, I suggest you check if you are able to do that before you buy this product.

It's not perfect and I wouldn't use it as my #1 streaming choice. Some problems include glitches with the casting, unable to connect (Samsung Note 5), and cropping of the image due to super sampling with no options to adjust. For $70 I expect better.

Gets hot and doesn't always work on first try, seems to always be hot too even when not used... does what it says it does though so there's that.

When it works it's great. There seems to be a problem with maintaining connection with other devices. Every so often it drops the wifi and has to be unplugged and reset. The cast option is spotty too.

Since my "smart" TV didn't come with SmartShare, I bought Chromecast so I could stream SF Opera, Symphony, Ballet, etc. The device is frustrating to set up, and with marginal functionality.

This product is a really efficient way to connect your phone or or other device to a television that doesn't have built-in Chromecast. It works really well with a normal flat-screen TV!

I probably should have read more reviews, but I think my expectations of the Chromecast were higher. I don't dislike it and use it pretty regularly but I do not love it. I feel other streaming devices are better.

Convenient streaming device but my phone loses connection with it so often I think it's problematic. Money is better spend on an Nvidia Shield TV. It's just ok. Not bad but not quite good either.

It works when it wants to. Depending on how much the Google AI likes you. If you have a good VPN then it will have issue's. Ive owned this for over 2 years

compared to a firestick these are worthless. Just a glorified screen casting. If you have a smart tv you do not need this. Firestick has everything this has and more.

this thing is great for a TV you want to control with your phone otherwise the roku has all the casting features and its a standalone unit with a great remote.

I have had a little trouble with the 4k, it wont stay connected it will work one day and then next will not be able to cast unless I unplug it and reset it

It works well but I was disappointed that I could not use it on older, lower resolution TVs. Unless you need the 4k save a few bucks and buy the next model down.
