I bought the Chromecast Ultra to gain access to Di$ney UHD movies on vudu. Well Vudu is bugged and recent uhd movies like Thor ragnarok and the last Jedi and others won’t play UHD on chromecast ultra. Fandango Now is another movies anywhere partner but won’t do UHD on chromecast ultra. Save your money to buy an appletv or Roku box.

I actually bought the hockey puck for my google home assistant, ''Google assistant isn't a cheap date" I have a lot more voice control over my tv w/chromecast. 2 out 5 stars. The fact that I'm literally not using it to cast anything and it costed me about $70 just to get Google to halfway control my tv.

- A mobile device or tablet, and a display device with an HDMI input, for example, a high-definition television (HDTV).
- The compatible mobile device or tablet must support a 5GHz connection to set up Chromecast on a 5GHz connection. Note: A WPA2-Enterprise network is not supported.
- A secure wireless network.

I checked the chromecast and it was hot to the touch. it was so hot, i had to unplug and wait before i could reuse. Now, it happens every week, sometimes 2x a week. I suspect before long, it will happen daily. If you want something that doesn't overheat and lasts longer than 6 months of daily use, don't choose this chromecast. I'll post again if the other products work better on a daily basis.
