The fact that i have to stream from my phone or other device is not as effective as pointing a remote and clicking a desired channel. Its not for me. Therefore it was returned. ..

Worked well at first but freezes after a year

I have purchased 3 of these in the last 2 years, but 2 of 3 began to freeze up after 45 - 60 min of use. I have to power cycle it to resolve the issue until it freezes again shortly after. Not buying any more of these!

Worthless!!!! To do that you have to have a really powerful internet and not a lot of people sharing it.

All of my mobile products are Apple, so I went with Apple TV after returning this chromcast. Keep that in mind. Android user, then yes stick with your google backed products. Lesson learned.

Xbox, Laptop, and all other devices worked without issue streaming while chromecast failed horribly. The device would not work in my vehicle HDMI slot either which was the primary reason for purchase.

Bad how to instructions in box and online too many Apps not sure what to use. At this time not sure if I would recommend it until I get it working properly.

Returned it immediately.

Doesn't do 4k like advertised...
