The is a nice little device that allows us to stream from many apps. Movies, TV shows, Music all play from my phone, tablet or laptop. I don't have to search for multiple remotes to make everything turn on or switched search for what I want. Its just one click from TV to HDMI and I change from the satellite to everything else and its controlled with whatever device I've picked to play from.

I like the fact that I can stream video contents from any mobile device on the Wi-Fi, but not from laptop or desktop. You can stream some contents by using Google chrome, but that is not always convenient.

Seamless and fast install as with all the CCasts. I like the quality but need the bandwidth on your wifi

I only gave it a 4 star because the only way to control it from a phone or a google home. I wish there was a controller or remote to make the device independent. But other than that the device works great. Netflix, Prime Video, HBO, YouTube are the applications I use to stream video and they work great. Streams are in 4K Resolution when ever the Video supports it or if there is enough bandwidth for Video to start streaming in 4K.

4k, Ethernet option, stream from phone, tablet, or chrome web browser. Works as advertised.

It's a little bit on the pricey side, but I guess not in comparison to Roku, AppleTV, etc. I use it to stream many things from my phone (iOS & Android), MacBook & other various devices. I mainly use this for watching & streaming MotoGP races to my TV, so that I'm not stuck watching them on a small screen. Streams in great color, incredible quality. Really a nice item.

Only complaint is it is a bit pricey, but it does work better than my Roku quality wise.

Chrome cast is great to use and is perfect for when I can’t find the remote

This 4K version of Chromecast works very well. Picture quality is perfect.

I had an Amazon Fire Stick and didn't like how it worked. Decided to replace it with the Chromecast Ultra and I'm glad I did! Much better streaming experience.

Good for casting from phone. Have issues with lag when casting from my MacBook.

Used to upgrade existing TV and found project to work excellently with old TV , so no need to purchase new TV . Just the Media Player and your ready to go . Started watching netflix immediately . No problem with connectivity providing you have good wifi signal . Overall a great simple product and have been using flawlessly for weeks .

The streaming is fantastic, never have any issues. Love that I'm able to use my phone without interrupting the casting whatsoever. I recently had to move from California to Phoenix temporarily and purchased the chromecast ultra as a way to cast my apps without paying extra for cable. Best purchase! And the picture quality is amazing on my 4k television. Highly recommended

As tech and video standards change this product enables different video standards to be used until all of the products in my home catch up with one another.

I bought this because I have a 4K TV, and it's newer so I was hoping it would be more prepared to stream Nest from an app like it does with YouTube... much like Amazon's stick does. It literally just streams exactly what's on your phone. For the money, this is kinda stupid without being able to pull directly from apps.
