Easy setup and great picture. Price is good for quality of movies.

I bought this to stream from various devices on our local network. Video quality is excellent with very infrequent lost connections. Ability to stream from WireLess AND Wired devices on the network (an important feature for me). Remember to install the Android Google Home app and you can control the stream on your phone, regardless of which device started the stream.

This is a no brainer if you have google home. It can play Netflix/Google play videos for you. In addition, It can stop/start, fast forward/rewind, and skip to the next episode. You can't currently choose to start a specific season, but i'm sure that's coming. I'm also not sure if it's worth the upgrade over the regular chromecast, but my friends swear the 4k videos i've played look amazing.

Just recently upgraded my Chrome Cast to 4K; works as expected. Easy to setup.

I had been using the 2014 Chromecast and it did pretty okay for it's four years. Problem was that it would not connect to my TV.. anyways, I went to BestBuy to get the cheapest replacement and they were all sold out! I decided to spend more clams to buy the Chromecast Ultra and I am glad I did. Faster, clearer and I don't have random loading during my streaming time.

Very easy to use and casting from my phone is a breeze.

I bought this to use along side my Fire TV and XboxOne mainly because YouTube sucks on those platforms. This thing is great for playing my Google content purchased through the Play store. My only complaint is that Amazon Video doesn't cast on Google devices and direct cast of my phone when playing Amazon video, is schetchy. But overall the quality is great. I recommend.

Works great. I have the original and it's basically the same. One downgrade from the original is that it needs a power source. The original can be plugged into the TV with the USB connector.

This is a great piece of technology. I use it to stream live TV using Sling TV since I don’t have regular cable and saved me a lot on cable bills. I also love the fact you can wirelessly stream videos you watch on your phone to a smart TV whether it’s online or videos and pictures saved on your phone, iPad or tablet. Highly recommend this item.

We have an older tv that is not smart enabled. We can now enjoy Pandora, Prime Video, Hulu, Netflix, and a host of other applications through an HDMI connection. The only con compared to Roku or Apple TV is that it does not have a remote. Your phone is essentially the remote. Other than that this was a great buy.

Great quality. Easy to use. Better picture then the first Chromecast.

After spending about 8 hours trying to get desktop mirroring on my desktop computer this was an easy fix. The chrome desktop mirroring has some lag, however it at least works very easily. It took me about 10 mins to setup as there was a required update and then it just worked out of the box, which was a nice surprise since miracast was a pain.

This Chromecast Ultra 4k is well worth the upgrade IF of course you have a 4k display and might be upgrading from a 1st or 2nd generation Chromecast then this is worth the little extra cheese. So far after using for almost 2 months I've been able to use this in an outdoor projection set up to celebrate Hamilton's release 4th of July weekend and the connection, image quality all were impressive and food not experience any drop off or drop out in connectivity or image quality. I say this because these hiccups were normal on my 2nd Feb Chromecasts. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase and say full price. I last bought my Chromecasts during cannibalistic Black Friday shopping. I am happy that my Chromecast works well and have yet to experience any difficulties. I have used this as I said earlier in am outdoor projector set up on a 12 foot screen to allow for social distancing with family over. I have used this in our Honda Odyssey dual screen entertainment system and on our main television in the living room with no hiccups when switching from displays.

Super easy to install and operate. Casting from my phone couldn't be easier.

Upgraded to the ultra for the advertised faster processor/speed. So easy to install and use. Streaming the Apps to our TV has saved us over $200 a month, since we cut Comcast as a provider. No longer have to rush out to Red Box for the just released movies. Often, we have seen them weeks before by using 1 of the Apps and streaming to TV using our Google Chromecast Ultra.
