My old chromecast was great. I used it on a daily basis and it worked flawlessly. When I saw the new version was 4k compatible and has a ethernet port, purchasing one was a no brainer. Everything runs just as well as the old version, with the added bonus of 4k streaming with a ethernet port so I have a strong signal with no loading worries. What's not to like?

My main streaming device is the Apple TV 4K. Also as a former chromecast owner I knew alexactly what to expect. I got this product to integrate with google home and nest, it does the job.

I love this product. Excellent speed and good quality streaming.

Not having been a google home device user before, it took a little while to adjust to the approach google takes with streaming devices. There is no remote, you use your mobile device for all control functions. For certain streaming services, you need to stream it on your mobile device and “chromecast” it to the tv that your device is connected to. The picture quality is good.

The Google Cromecast 4k has a great picture and setup was really easy.

I like the google streaming media player. The 4K version is much more crisp than my previous units. The only thing I am not crazy about is that they only provide you with a wall adapter for power. Google really should include an optional USB cord to provide power to the unit. I believe the majority of the Televisions being sold, currently, have a USB port on them. Other than that it performs flawlessly.

Steams 4k easily and it looks great. Easy to use with my phone too.

quick setup and works well. It does sometimes randomly trigger the TV to switch from cable to chromecast.

the best version of the Google chromecast. It works just like a regular chromecast, but enables the ability to have 4k. It also has a little ethernet port on the electrical plug so that you can hard wire it which makes it even better. This is the only version of the Chromecast you should own

Better then roku and fire... Google is where it's at. 4K and Ethernet fast!!!

This Chromecast Ultra is pretty much exactly the same as the first and second generations which I also own. Only like a little bit better cuz 4k. But the problem is nearly nothing streams in 4k so like mostly you'll see stuff as you did on the previous gen. So probably worth the money later on when mostly everything will be 4k but until then you're fine using the last gen.

I've had each generation of the Chromecast since it's release and this is clearly a new beast. Full 4k experience with next to zero lag. Faster loading from button press on my phone to playing on the TV. *Note* Make sure you use the included power cord, when I originally plugged it in, I just used the old cord but in order to stream 4k you HAVE to use the new power cord.

Works great with my ultra 4k tv. Easy to use and nice look.

There is not enough tech out that pushing HD or 4K to really take advantage of this device so I am not really seeing any difference from the regular one. When 4K streaming catch up I think it would be a great toy to have I do recommend it for early adopters
