This is the best device for casting to a tv that you can get. Compatible with everything I’ve tried except Apple TV+ (which is Apple’s fault), it works quickly and flawlessly, with it without Google Home. I’ve picked up two on separate sales, and I highly recommend acting on the next one!

I bought the 4k chromecast. I love it. It works great. The only thing different with this version is you have to plug the power to an outlet.

We use it all the time to stream just about everything. And now that Stadia is available on it you can enjoy that steaming pile of a game streaming service. Honestly this thing will work way better than any of the baked in stuff on your smart TV.

When working it is amazing. Dolby Vision and HDR work great and look amazing on my LG OLED TV. The problem is I have to reboot the CC every time the TV is turned off. When I turn on the tv and try to cast the TV changes input to the CC but shows the error No Input. If I reboot the CC then it will work. I can change inputs and come back to the CC and all is fine until the tv is turned off. LG replaced the circuit board with the HDMI inputs so it is not the tv. All other 4k devices work fine only the CC requires a reboot.

I updated from a previous Chromecast, has the same design, you might think that the Chromecast Ultra is the successor of the Chromecast because it is more current, and has improvements. But really it's not so. The standard Chromecast remains the same, the second that has been released in the history of Google. Choosing between one or the other depends mainly on your television. Keep in mind that the main difference between the two Chromecast is the resolution at which the movies can play. While the standard Chromecast stays in Full HD, 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, the Chromecast Ultra goes up to 4K, or Ultra HD. As is logical, this is especially interesting to users who have a television in this resolution. It is also true that this Chromecast Ultra is compatible with HDR + in video, but this feature will not be as noticeable and remarkable as the 4K resolution. Thus, the key factor in choosing one or the other will be if we have a 4K television.

We had the first generation Chromecast and this is 100x better. Everything looks cleaner, even with an older TV. Highly recommend.

I upgraded to this from the original 1st gen Chromecast and I don't regret it. This is much faster and much more reliable (as long as your network is also). Ability to plug internet directly to product is also a nice idea and helps cut down on performance issues which I've had none of yet with this one

Just about whatever you can think to watch there is an app for it. You can even mirror your screen and play personal videos from your phone.

Works quite well with YouTube TV, if you have it available in your area. Also works well with all the streaming apps that allow you to cast.

I honestly thought having a Chromecast would be redundant because I already had a Smart TV and all the current generation gaming consoles. However, once I opened it and gave it a shot, I realized it was so intuitive and seamless. As long as you're plugged in with an Ethernet adapter, it is lightning quick. Casting is clean and on point.

Ease of use coupled with 4k streaming, this product is worth the money.

This device was very easy to install and setup. Great picture quality.

I love this. Have an older smart TV that doesn't have D+. Simply plug this in and and your up and running. Love the ability to multitask while streaming a movie. You can turn off the screen on your phone while it continues to stream or you can read the news while it continues to stream.

The ability to stream my laptop screen to the TV is great to have for elderly parents. It makes it easy to share videos and facebook pics so they can enjoy seeing the family too. Great feature over Roku
