This is my second chromcast and I love it almost all my apps in my iPhone can be played on my big screen The thing I most love is that I start casting and than I can keep using my phone for other stuff while I watch tv I got the second generation and it was a waste of money I returned I strongly recomend the ultra version

Been a user of the Chromecast since they first came out. This definitely improves in many ways. One thing I struggled with is the connectivity, and I love that I can use a wired connection instead of wireless. Having the ability for 4K is amazing, AND I've noticed an increase in quickness when loading videos and the like.

I was already a Chromecast owner with the regular one and then I sprung for the Ultra. It is much faster and apps like Hulu load up almost instantly.

Works great for streaming shows, but I have plenty of devices that do that , bought it to stream my oculus quest to the tv, worked once and then never again, returned it, but really not the devices fault, the streaming’s in beta, and imagine updates need to be made on either side . The device streamed beautiful 4K otherwise.

I love being able to cast from within apps on my iPhone directly to my TV. Even though my TV is a smart TV, it is old enough to the point where it does not support Miracast. Chromecast makes up for this in glorious fashion because of its native integration with many apps.

The new Chromecast Ultra is way better than the old one and is a much Needed Upgrade with the newer TV's and Streaming that we love to do. DO yourself a favor, buy a Really good gigabite router to stream, buy thisChromecase Ultra and a 4k tv and sit back and Enjoy some free time, get away from all the Garbage we see daily....

I got this for my parents since they don’t have a Smart TV and they use it everyday! It’s perfect for their needs as they can simply cast from YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+. It supports 4K when 4K content is available. Can’t go wrong with this one!

In addition to being the best casting device currently available, Chromecast HD doubles as a Game console. I have one of these on each TV in the house allowing me to play any Staida game. A fraction of the price of a PlayStation or Xbox with better performance.

Its good , could be better, the functionality is good. Their interface is poor and you have to have a controller to stream unlike something like Roku which is independent of any controller and can run by itself and costs almost same. I do admire the HDR and 4K quality of this little device and it has Ethernet port too. While the interface can be improved significantly it's a good device.

Chromecast Ultra Is easy to use, the images on tv is very clear and sharp!

We're now able to use our phones, laptops to cast to tv in HD4k. Works great in living room, yet our bedroom unit has to be unplugged at times to get the sound to work. Otherwise does it job. Works with home app on Samsung galaxy/google

I start with the first chromecast, have the second, this one is the best. With my Google home mini work perfectly

I use these on all of my televisions in my house. Great way to keep everything linked up and ready to cast to grin your phone. Also works to display smart cameras feeds to the big screen. Haven't had any issues with any cringes divides I've purchased.

Love the chromecast for playing music and movies on the TV. Easy to use. Needed less now due to apps that can be utilized directly on the TV, but a chromecast is essential for anyone who doesn't have a smart TV or chooses to use a phone rather than TV apps.

So I've been extremely familiar with Roku over the years and wanted to get something for the spare bedroom which has a standard flat screen TV with no "Smart" functionality. I decided to go another way and try out the Chromecast rather than the Roku this time around. I'm glad I did. While Roku is just fine, the Chromecast has just a couple of features I personally find a bit more convenient and these are that you can cast directly from Hulu on the iPhone and you can cast from any laptop via the Chrome browser. This pretty much sold me on the device. I admit I was hesitant because I didn't know what was going on between the whole Google and Amazon feud but then the Google website listed Amazon Prime Video as a compatible app so I figured whatever beef they had is resolved now which is an added plus so I went for it and it has 4K capability and faster streaming than the regular chromecast so I think I made the right decision for sure.

video output quality is excellent but there is a lag at times and can be buggy.

I both like and hate how chromecast doesn't really have its own User-Interface. It's nice that it's always there and you can easily cast from your phone through apps like youtube or netflix, but then sometimes it would also be nice to just search it all right through the tv with a remote like the fire stick

My Chromecast ULTRA was easy to hook up to and so far has functioned flawlessly. I think it is a solid product!
