Streams in excellent quality from my laptop, phone or tablet. However, I was under the impression that it cam with apps installed onto it, like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Sling, PS Vue, etc. which is why I give it 4 stars. I highly recommend for those who do not have smart TVs with such apps

You can use your iPhone iPad or any portable device to watch your favorite show sporting events and movies on the go and your not tied to a yearly fee or contract you can cancel anytime and just pay on a monthly basis. For addition $7.00 per month you can subscribe to showtime or other premium stations.

Works great, no problems. Love telling my google home to play things on the big screen.

This works as expected. Streams well and chrome cast is nice. I just don’t see it as relevant anymore because more TVs stream well at 4K and offer the same features or very similar features to casting your screen.

Have had a Chromecast from the beginning. Love the response times and my picture looks so much better. Wise the app was a little easier to use, especially the Offers part but that doesn't hinder the device. If you just want to stream from your phone this is the product.

So far I'm very happy with the Chromecast Ultra 4K streaming media device. I was hesitant about buying this device but now I've used it for a while I'm happy I bought it. I can't wait for the new Chromecast to come out!

I bought a 4k tv during thanksgiving and didn't want to just stick with using a HDMI cable. So bought the chromecast. Its one of the very best.

We are a Chromecast family so picking this up for our 70 inch 4k TV was a no brainer. Netflix is awesome on this and it is totally worth the price. Some services like HGTV stutter if you try to skip to a different point in the video. This doesn't happen with the normal Chromecast and I would guess that the bug will be worked out soon.

If you don't have a Smart TV; or if you find the built-in software too slow to be efficient, any Chromecast will provide a solution. The Chromecast Ultra has a few nice additional features in a faster UI and the ability to play 4K entertainment it you have one of the newer TVs.

loved it, specially for playing all the android games from my tab and watching movies.

I would use my old PS3 to stream Netflix, Hulu, HBOgo, etc. to my not so smart 47" display. When the PS3 broke down I picked up the Chromecast and it picked up right where the PS3 left off. Minus the gaming of course, but I have a PS4 for that.

Our family was cutting the cable, so I did research on various devices, and I can easily say that the Chromecast is the best one! It works perfectly with your smartphone and you can control it with your voice using Google hubs.

A very good product came with google assistant. This make my old plasma tv a smart tv.

So much better than the 1st version Chromecast I had. Much better overall functionality

No issues with it. Total plug and play, connects very easy to Wi-Fi or cabled internet

Bought this one after I purchased a 4k TV, and the resolution of the original chromecast was a bit lacking. This fixed it. And two main features it offers over and about what the TV does, are - desktop sharing, and google photos screensavers - I use them all the time.

So it's pretty good. Streams what I want it too. Pretty quick to buffer up to high quality 4K in the apps that support it. Not Google's issue, but it would be nice if more streaming services supported 4K via Chromecast. I've only experienced Netflix and Google Play Movies.
