Streaming in 4K is the new thing and Chromecast can do this on a limited basis right now with a few APPs. ROKU is still the best for this, but since I want to project to the TV what's on my Laptop for teaching purposes - I bout the Chromecast. Too bad you have to hook it up to A/C versus the former USB plug.

Plug it into hdmi port and plug in power source and enter wifi password and thats it

Our family was cutting the cable, so I did research on various devices, and I can easily say that the Chromecast is the best one! It works perfectly with your smartphone and you can control it with your voice using Google hubs.

I purchased a Google Chromecast Ultra so that I can send videos from my smartphone/tablet/PC to our living room TV that doesn't have that capability. I'll be able to use it on a 4K TV in the future. I am looking forward to exploring all the other capabilities.

I can watch my games now on ESPN 3. My family is loving being able to stream shows.

Love this new attachment to our TV, we can watch almost everything with it now. And after getting YouTube TV, we just cut our cable service and now watch all our cable shows through that via Chromecast. It's a breeze to use with the phone, totally worth it.

So far I'm very happy with the Chromecast Ultra 4K streaming media device. I was hesitant about buying this device but now I've used it for a while I'm happy I bought it. I can't wait for the new Chromecast to come out!

Good streaming device, I like that you can connect it to Ethernet now, so that’s a plus. You can also mirror your PC desktop or just the chrome browser to the Chrome Cast which helps a lot in my line of work.

This works as expected. Streams well and chrome cast is nice. I just don’t see it as relevant anymore because more TVs stream well at 4K and offer the same features or very similar features to casting your screen.

Chromecast is very easy to use. Only drawback was no HDR support on my Epson projector, which doesn't support 4k60fps. Otherwise I love it. Great for viewing photos on the big screen!

In my opinion hands down the best digital media player on the market. Hands down!

I was very skeptical in purchasing this product but havr no regrrts. Very pleased

I bought this so I can mirror my smartphone screen to the TV screen. It works like a charm. Easy to set up. Then easy to link up when you want to. Links the sound as well as the graphics. You can use it for sound only when you want to listen to music.

Easy plug and configure and play from various platforms in a matter of minutes. I’ve been using on WiFi without any lag or buffering issues. Was simple to set up and a breeze to use. Cool feature with my tv is that it auto turns on when I cast something.

I get very frustrated by many devices that are hard to connect and give you no instructions - Not this one! It walks you through on the tv screen what to do, where to go to do it, what is connected and what isn't. EASY! Most important to me!

No competitors, Google is doing really, really good with its hardware division...

Bought this for my daughter who was streaming Netflix on her small laptop. Easy setup and great picture quality. Made her "dumb" tv a little smarter. She can cast pretty much anything and more games are being released with cast feature. She loves it !!!

Overall this product is great and does what I need it to. Does require network cable plugged into the the power supply for optimal viewing experience which adds yet another cable to the nest of cables already required for home theater setup.

This works great with my google home. Now I don’t have to touch a remote at all.
