I recently purchased a 4K TV and wanted to stream it on 4K resolution. Black Friday deal brought the price down. Easy install since this is the third Chromecast I own. Works like a charm.

great product, I would definitely recommend this product.

This streaming device definitely comes in handy and does a lot but there is just a few minor things that can be changed or added. Nothing major to regret the purchase but also works even better if you have a Google Home Assistant device to correspond.

I recently dumped cable and only kept internet. They gave me their streaming box for free and I found it to be a pain to use. I could not access Disney+ or most of my digital library (I use VUDU and Movies Anywhere). I could get more of my content on the streaming app on my phone, so it was odd it didn't completely transfer to the box. Their stream app wasn't an app on their box either, it was I guess integrated into the whole interface. I love how I can use my phone to cast whatever I want to watch. The cable company box had a user guide that wasn't exactly user friendly, was quirky to use and often just wouldn't work. The Chromecast Ultra was a bit of a pain to connect to wifi as it all updated then kept saying it couldn't connect. Just unplugged everything and reconnected and no issues since.

The ease and use of this is great. Also, an amazing value. My only complaint is that it does need it's own power source. Which means it won't turn off with your TV.

Compatible with my 4K tv just need more streaming services that push out 4K content. But at least I’m really to push it with this chromecast. Just need to buy for every 4K tv I got now .

works so easy with our cell phones and streams all our Google photos when not using TV. Way better than using traditional cable as long as you sign up for a streaming service

Bought it because a friend had one. It does what I bought it for. So far no down sides

We live in an apartment with no choice other than Spectrum. We supposedly get 85+ Mbps, however I was unable to watch anything regardless of the device. The pairing between Chromecast and the Google Home mini was pretty cool. Setup is easy and it connects fast.

The Google home has become a wonderful tool for our household. Simplistic connection, easy to use, multiple devices can be connected to it, and compact compared to other choices.

Pairs really well with my Google Pixel 2 XL phone. Makes it extremely easy to cast any video streaming app I want and goes great with my Samsung smart TV so I can basically watch anything I want.

I have enjoyed this device so much that I had to go buy a second one. I can cast my movies to one tv and cast the kids movies in another room. I enjoy being able to watch Crunchyroll anime on the big screen tv!

Bought this as a Christmas present for my nephew. He plugged it into the TV and was streaming videos from his phone in no time. The picture was great. Both he and I were happy with it.

works really good with my google home purchase. I use it with a momotv app to "airplay" any other website which don't have the cast symbol

We got this product to work with our Google Home - and so far are very pleased with it. I wouldn't call this a 'beginner's product' because you have to understand what it can and cannot do, but it works nicely for our needs!

Cut the cord and upgraded from the 1st gen of Chromecast. The 1st gen had lags in it but this one hasn't skipped a beat so far. Also, it's now on sale so I may have to get the one I bought price-matched :)

I originally purchased the Chromecast 4K Steaming product to cast the environment of a game being played on the Oculus Quest. It worked really well. It was easy to set up and connect.

Needed something small to use in my RV. This fit the bill and allows me to stream my IPAD to the Large TV in my RV using any of the streaming services that I want. This is a great product, easy to use and easy to set up.

It works Great. Don't know why I didn't buy one sooner.
