Works well on my 4k tv! Connects easily to phone. Unfortunately it needs power from a wall outlet.

Even though I don’t have a 4K tv, I bought the ultra hoping that it would stream better than other chromecast I was using - it does!

I've been looking for a remote for my sound system to control the volume but Chrome cast does it pretty decently so no longer looking for a remote. Has a lot functions like screen savers and the different apps you can pretty much view anything. Pros: able to connect to all of the tv streaming apps except for Amazon... Cons: not sure if its my phone that sometimes it will disconnect from my wifi after a while of no use (would have to restart the app on my phone and connect again to get connectivity once more to the chrome cast.)

This product has great streaming capabilities in 4K. I love the size and convenience of it.....especially the Android screen mirroring.

I wanted best performance for streaming live TV. I had the chromecast setup in a few minutes and was viewing Live TV shortly after that.

For the most park seamlessl streaming. Make sure your pc/laptop meets min requirements. Failure to do so seems to interrupt the stream.

Great product to connect iphone to TV and see pictures from photo file as well as Face time meetings.

Great tv application/interface with my laptop.. Required some training and practice on use but was really impressed with the performance..

It took a little bit of time to figure everything I can do with it...but, overall, it's a great little streaming device with minimal fuss.

Very easy to setup. Pity that not all the soft can cast for the moment. Easy way to connect a computer to a TV without the burden of cables.

Works good. I think a tad expensive for what it is since there are better products out there. The sound sometimes goes out of sync.

I have a 1st generation Chromecast and decided it was time to upgrade when I learned they would no longer be supported. One of the many things that I love about the Chromecast is that I can add it to a home group to play music throughout my house in various rooms. A downside I've noticed is that the audio isn't in sync with my Chromecast audios in the home group. Hopefully, there's a way to correct that; I just haven't invested any time yet to find a solution.

I’ve streamed from my phone to my TV with Netflix and Amazon prime sling TV seems to work pretty good so far

I received this for Christmas and did a little research before even opening the package. I really only wanted access to some basic apps that I cannot load to my current smart TV. I was disappointed that I could not use it for a particular streaming service I really wanted. I was going to have to basically mirror stream from my computer. I gave it an average rating because from what I read it does perform well, but I didn't open it because it wouldn't do what I wanted it for.

If you have been waiting to buy one of these do not wait any longer! It is awesome and very easy to use!

This is cool, but if you have a smart TV, IDK what you really gain from it. There's no remote, which kind of drives me nuts.

I have this and an Amazon Fire Stick. I like Chromecast for the capability to display content from portables (phone, tablet) which makes it possible to display some things like live streaming from my cable provider's app which the Fire Stick doesn't support. The Fire Stick has apps loaded on it and you can only load what Amazon provides (e.g., they provide the Netflix app but not my cable provider's app). The Fire Stick has the capability to mirror what's on a phone, but that feature certainly doesn't work with my phone (Samsung).
