Great casting

The ability to plug it in to a wired network is great. I have not experienced any buffering or pixelation so far. Not having to rely on wifi is a huge advantage.

Good media player

Although I still prefer my Apple TV 4k to the Chromecast Ultra, this is a great (cheaper) option for android/windows users that are looking to have a simple plug and play media device connected to their TV/entertainment system. However, if you are an Apple user I recommend foregoing this device and spending the extra $$$ on the Apple TV. Really dependant on the ecosystem you have adopted.

Like from the Oculus Quest or Smart Phone to your TV. It is new to me so I am still learning, but to watch Netflix on my TV, I have to cast it ftom my phone. I bought it to cast my VR games to my TV. I picked this one for the better specs and built in network port to use instead of Wireless. It is nice to have, but not like other TV sticks. Research exactly what you want to do with it, and go from there. I would like to see more for the price.
