Make your streming simple

The Ultra has faster connection, and if you use the Google Home app, there are so many different settings and suggestions for you to get started. If you are looking into the world of Smart Home tech. The best 2 devices to start with are the Google Chromecast Ultra and the Google Home mini in my opinion. If you are still using the original Chromecast do yourself a favor and upgrade to the Chromecast Ultra.

Decent upgrade over the first generation

Oh well: Xfinity blocks mirroring

I thought it would be a great option to eliminate a cable box. It won't work for that, because the Xfinity app blocks mirroring. All other mirroring features work extremely well. If you want a device that mirrors in general, it's awesome. However, if your idea is like mine, then you're out of luck.

It works when it feels like it.

It’s as fun as dial-up internet. It works a bit more smoothly if you are trying to cast a program you have downloaded from the phone to the tv. We have a 2013-era Sony Bravia TV, and iPhones. We’ve cast programming from Netflix downloads, Amazon Prime Video downloads, & CBS streaming.
