On the one plus I got T mobile service. On the pixel I was able to make full use of all the services provided. So far I am extremely satisfied

I already had one, but thought the sim card was bad. It was only 10 bones, which goes on your Google Fi credit so no loss there

But the $10 you spend on the SIM card goes towards a $10 credit on your first bill so, in a sense, it's nearly free? I purchased this card since I was moving abroad (to South Korea) and couldn't afford to wait for Google to send me one for free in the mail. It was really convenient to pick it up from Best Buy and super easy to install and begin usage. Even though I'll be switching over to a residential phone number soon, having Google Fi for the first month and as a backup for later is a great option to have when abroad!

Google Fi's website and app were very easy to use as well when setting up service or just for information on unlocking my old device.

Google Fi offers amazing coverage and a far more competitive plan for heavy international travelers. Do yourself a favor and review the available plans. Coverage in the states is great. I will test it on the road once covid chills out.

I needed a new SIM card because I got a new iPhone and was super excited to see that I don't have to request a card through google and wait for it to ship. Once you get the SIM setup you'll get the credit on your Fi bill so that the SIM is effectively free.
