Turned out I probably didn't need to buy the SIM card, just download the info.

The service wasn't too great in my location when I first got it, but I checked the box to be a part of the BETA Service Extension. Basically, where I live everyone usually gets very cellular service, but over the past couple of months, my service is typically better than everyone else in my household who has T-Mobile or Verizon. I like the flat rate UNLIMITED plan as well. Plus, with the Coronavirus pandemic going on, they just increased the UNLIMITED plan to 30GB before it becomes slower, which has been a big help.

Be patience while activating. Other than that its all good

Buying the Google Fi sim was definitely the way to go, otherwise it would have been at least a two day wait. The service itself works as well as promised. Unfortunate it doesn't work any better then some of the others. I live in one of those little black specks the carriers show you on there maps. I've yet to have a dropped call, thars a plus. The data however is quite spotty.

I'm a Google Fi subscriber and needed a Sim card as I was upgrading my device to an unlocked non Google phone. It's awesome that Best buy now supplies these SIM cards. Also, after activating device, Google Fi credited me the cost of the SIM card.

Google fi is the best plan available for travelers. You dont need to worry about finding a local sim once you land in your destination. Your number will be active including data and its all without any roaming charges. Calling might cost more to international numbers so check your specific destination. With data being connected you can do VOIP calling at no extra charge. I used both T mobile One Plan and Google fi and they both have the same kind of service but the difference is the price.

Best Buy can't help you set up new lines for existing Fi service.

I purchased a Pixel 4a 5g specifically to complete my google world and google Fi was the final step. It was pretty easy to install myself and get started, so far so good. I get great reception in the Fort Lauderdale area 5g connection and the surfing through social media is incredible fast. I went with the $20 unlimited package to begin, just to see if this is for me as I may go for their $70 unlimited. Google is a great family to be apart of.

I like this service and that I can get it at the best buy store

We've been a Google Fi customer for several years. Used it in several countries and had no major issues.

It works and you can use it. So the actual sim card item is fine. But the service is not worth it and when I had a problem and talked to customer service (through google fi) they refused to fix it and said (paraphrasing) next time it could work but not right now when you need.

I have used this product for international travel in the past. Bought two more for the rest of my family to use when traveling. Worked well and provided immediate cellular access upon arrival. Cost was minimal compared to using my regular cellular service through a major carrier. Calls are clear and data rate was awesome. Recommend use of Google Fi for any travel outside the United States. Starting to use them for my business phone vice a standard carrier.

Just what i needed. Best Buy had the Google Fi Sim card. I paid $10 however, Google will reimburse me.

I purchased this for its excellent international coverage. Data is available shortly after landing at a foreign airport. Be aware that international data should be used only for short trips. If you use google fi for too long outside the US, google will turn off your data. At the time of this review, iphone hotspot feature is not supported outside US.

It's a regular everyday SIM card for Google Fi mobile network plans. Functions as expected with no issues. And it's essentially free. Once you activate your Google Fi service on your phone, you get a $10 credit on your first Google Fi bill. Though the SIM card functions without flaw, I will caution you to do some research before switching your mobile carrier to Google Fi.
