I purchased for a sailor deployed in the Pacific Ocean. Would assume it is good because she requested this specific product.

It just didn't work with my phone. A Motorola Z4. Also tried it on a Z3 and a Razor. No joy.

Regular service, if you don't pay attention, you can easily get a $50 bill per month. I choose Mint instead for $15 per month.

Son said it was not needed. He was right, he set it up without using the Fi SIM Card. Both SIM cards were returned unopened.

Although the transfer from T-Mobile to Google Fi should take 2 minutes, it took me 1 day of communications with the 2 network operators to complete the transfer which was stuck in the middle (the first operator closed my line but the new operator could not open it).

I was attempting to use the SIM on a Samsung Galaxy S7 that had been purchased from Verizon Wireless new. Both in store, and on a chat, Verizon told me the phone was unlocked. After installation, I was able to get text, and data through either WiFi, or the wireless connection without much issue, but calling only worked in WiFi. After almost a month of dealing with Fi's tech support, and never getting the non-WiFi calling to work, I gave up and put the phone back on Verizon. As a side note, I also have a Pixel 4 on Fi, that that works great. Just be warned that it doesn't appear that all phones can be moved to Fi even though their online tool says the phone is okay.

I gave up on Google Fi because of their constant issues retrieving text and multimedia messages. Their support is useless. I switched to a different provider, more reliable.

A Great Value

It is quite remarkable how the level of support and quality of features available from Google Fi, particularly considering the price relative to most-every other alternative available in the US. Coverage is great, speeds are great, price is great, setup is as simple as can be - all around great value. Even using it with my iPhone XS Max, it works flawlessly.

I had to buy this card because somebody deleted, release my wife's phone number from the Google group plan and Google tried (over a week) to restore it. They did after a week. Things like text messaging never came back. Their offshore helpdesks are horrible. just deliver "blah blah" . We switched to SimpleMobile. Everything is better. QoS, text, calls... -- Google Fi needs to go out of business. In a healthy market they would.
