When my phone service crashed, Fi lost my phone number that I've had for years. The support service is just on the surface, unavailable for any real problems (within 72 hours). I filed a complaint to the FCC, no recourse there. Now I'm back with my previous carrier with a brand new phone number, maybe some day I'll get my old phone number back. If your phone number is important, better not port it to Fi.

After receiving my sim card the activation and phone number porting were super easy. The service coverage really sucks though. I have very limited coverage even though the map shows I should have at least 3g wherever I go. Joke is on me though. No messaging unless I'm on wifi. May as well not even have a cell phone provider at this point.

And the fact that after all these years, they still FULLY do not support iOS devices is mind-boggling. Stick with AT&T, Verizon, Spectrum or even Cricket. Your phone will at least work there and they won't rip you off in price.
