Do better best buy
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall the product is great, I had a bigger issue with store availability since the internet said they were available at mayfair and when I went there was directed to Southridge because they couldn't find any.

SIM
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This SIM will get you going on what Google Fi have to offer as a mobile company. This is great service and price when you have 4 or more lines connected on the unlimited plan. Plus you can travel outside the USA and don't lose connection for the same price.

Great service especially for international travel
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed to have a phone to use for a month long international trip and didnt want to pay an arm and a leg for a local sim with complex dial out instructions to call home. I had already used a backup phone on Google Fi abroad in 2018 so this was a quick and easy Sim activation with simple to follow not to mention affordable billing. Phone was ready to use for an international trip the next day and worked great in all the countries i visited. Had no issues calling home to US or my family calling me abroad and it didn't kill my wallet. Google Fi is also great for domestic use and offers free Data Sims for your compatible devices (i.e. tablets, etc) with no additional device charge (unlike Verizon etc)

A Phone Carrier you can Trust
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Compared to other carriers, Google Fi shines from the rest because it picks the best signal coming from different satellites in which you are closest to and they have at least 3 or more satellites which are T-Mobile, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular as well as their own satellite giving you uninterrupted reception. Many people don't know this and when I mention it to them, they are in a state of awe or shock. Google Fi also gives you a Free VPN service that encrypts your Wi-Fi connections as well as mobile data. In addition Google lets you pick your own plan depending on how much data you will be using. To top it off, you can cancel anytime if you don't like it. Be ware that it only supports a few phones and I wish it supported more like Microsoft or Apple.

Glad I made the switch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best move ever after being with AT&T for 20+ years. Android user experience is excellent. Almost no spam calls since moving. Tested iPhone as well. iPhone users have some setup for sms/mms, but iMessage works out of the gates. Also iPhone voicemail moves to dial-in or via the Google Fi app instead of in the phone app. Don't even need this if your phone supports esim. Check Google Fi site for phone support. Overall, extremely happy switching. Google Fi app is easy to use, porting took seconds after transfer initiated. But review the pros and cons for yourself (some listed below). No stores, limited phones that are designed for Fi. Using an AT&T Pixel 4 XL works well. Note: special Google versions of phones get best results. Still waiting for my Google Pixel 6 that's backordered. Support was fast via chat and easy.

You can cut your bill in half (2 or more lines)
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Google Fi is the cheapest service out there for a family of at least 2 or more. We cut our bill in half. Phone providers generally aren't willing to pass on new-customer savings to the consumer. Google Fi does. The voice quality is fine. It now works with IPhone. I did have a few issues requiring me to manually enter the information on one of my phones but that didn't stop me from plunging ahead. I had to purchase a sim for one of my phones and the others used an E-Sim. The phone I had trouble with was an IPhone with an E-Sim. But as I stated, entering the information manually (video on youtube and GoogleFi explains it) solved the problem. GoogleFi refunds you the Sim charge.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fi is the way to go. International travel has never been easier with google. The plans are even cheaper than most competitors. E sim setup is so easy. I have a group of 4 and we traveled all of europe with 5G everywhere!

It's a sim card
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does what it does. The Google Fi service is great and they're always adding improvements. Great for travelers as your same plan goes with you to countries abroad (unlimited here, unlimited there, for example). Sim card here gets you $10 service credit so it's basically free.

A good roaming option
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very good option for international calls and roaming. Especially data roaming. Though after a long period of overseas use (over a month approx), google cancels data roaming.

Google Fi
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Google Fi definitely has its perks. I switched before other companies started offering similar packages. I have enjoyed the other Google perks that come along with being a Google Fi member.

Great for international travels
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using Google fi service for a few years but turned the services for the month I travel internationally. Decided to switch over permanently to fi after testing the service for a month to make sure I received coverage on my daily commute and other places I go. I purchased this for my iPad pro 5th gen. It worked fine Google says it's not supported but it works fine on my iPhone 13 pro max and and iPad. Only down fall is no 5g or wifi calling on Apple devices but testing speeds around my area. LTE service was on same level as my 5g services (Verizon). Only places Verizon beat them was in true 5g UW coverage in the city or airport but I was able to stream 1080 even 4k youtube just to test it out. I like that I can just pause the service on my iPad anytime. Also the luxury to switch plans at anytime. I know google fi isn't the cheapest or the best plan but if you do any international travel highly recommend it. But none of the big 3 companies offer anything close to unlimited international data. Also support was easy. I used the online support to transfer my number over took 15 mins and I was up and running Even if you don't switch over permanently. Just turn it on before you leave the country and pause the service when you come back. Now every 90 days you have to pause the service but not big deal in my book. I see some people complain about be charged for calls. Easy way around that. If you use an iPhone to iPhone use facetime with the video or most places I been everyone uses whatsapp so never had an issue. Hopefully 5g and wifi calling make it to iPhones. It's all im missing.

Great service for international travel
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm using the Google Fi service with a Samsun Galaxy S9 which means I'm restricted to the T-Mobile network in the US. Not a problem as it works as well or better in all the areas my previous AT&T service did. I travel internationally frequently for work - and have contacts in a few dozen countries - so landing in another country and just turning on my phone and having it work is amazing! Having access to an international calling plan at all times - including using wifi calling when available - is invaluable. I used to buy sim cards in every country to have data access and a temporary local phone number. Now my US-based text and phone calls come through normally and I still have access to local foreign numbers and WhatsApp wherever I am. I'll probably get the Google Pixel 4 or another phone that can network switch at some time in the future, but the Samsung S9 is working great for now.
