Awesome Google tv box. We use it for Netflix, youtube, and have Kodi custom installed. I canceled my cable and only use it now. The controller is a little limited, but you can use any cellphone or tablet to also control it. Great quality of video. And great download speeds via wifi.

This is a great device that stock Android TV. Still getting the most updated updates including Android 8.0. It runs amazingly fast! There is a dongle you can use via micro-usb and a small USB hub to allow you two add additional USB storage and ethernet connection.

I've been using two of these at home for streaming from my Plex server. The Nexus Player doesn't struggle at all even when playing the highest quality video. A substantial upgrade over the Chromecasts they replaced. If you plan on connecting to your home network and access another PC; I would suggest using KODI for accessing those libraries.

The item is pretty good but I get quite a lot of the Apps crashing when I use them. Crackle and FXnow mainly. Reset and still there two apps. I hope an OTA update will fix the underlining issue. The rest seem to be working pretty good. If you plan to play games on it make sure you buy the gaming remote.

This is an excellent device for all media consumption on your television or home theater system. The interface is clean and simple to use, unlike most smart TVs, and setup takes less than 2 minutes. If you already have a smart TV and wish that it could do more, this is definitely the product to get.

I bought this to replace my slow Apple TV. I ended up returning the nexus player because it's doesn't stream 60 fps content from YouTube. This also doesn't have a network jack which I didn't notice till after I bought it. The remote is Bluetooth which is nice because it doesn't require line of sight to operate and the nexus player supports HDMI control so you can operate it with the tv remote if your tv supports control through HDMI. The apps store is a joke and is incredibly small. Unless the nexus player has something specific that the Apple TV won't do, like rooting, then I would suggest picking up the 3rd gen Apple TV over this.

Good little box for the price I paid it is a great bargain. Kodi runs very well on it, it has little trouble streaming some 1080p video but otherwise it works good for me.

I bought one to replace a dying PS3 in bedroom for netflix/xbmc then loved it so much I bought another to replace a roku 2 xs in living room. can be a little buggy at times but seems to be minimal, definitely recommended!

I can watch Netflix, play games, or listen to my music, with the touch of a button.
