Intel 64bit processor, most of app are still 32bit or 64bit with ARM. So app is very limited and even side load to this device is still limited or not 100% working.

Overall works well for a media player, access to netflicks and support for kodi is good. You can install generic andriod apps, but they won't all be compatible. Disappointed nhl gamecenter is not supported.

I purchased the Nexus player when I saw the price get cut in half I had Been interested previously. But couldn't afford it. I find this is a great streaming device that can also play games halfway decent it's not like the Nvidia shield but it's also less than half the price for my purposes this works well

Not as feature rich as Roku but I am quite satisfied. Voice search works very well but only for Google play. Would have given 4 stars if voice search supported Netflix.

All I can say is pick one of these up! Was so nice I bought 2 of them. It has google play store and is running lollipop. Only negative is it is only wifi. You can buy a adapter if you want to hook it up by ethernet. It should just have a port though. Also it will be getting Android M soon which is a plus.

I have got this Google nexus player since the day it was released. Best buy even gave me a credit card plus best customer service, convenient location, and I keep getting good offers. Plus nexus player is better than kindle or apple or other competitors in the market. Just buy it and feel the difference

I was excited for this device when it was announced and am enjoying it. I do own a Chromecast but this makes entertaining my family better. And since it is based on the Android platform, development to enhance the device was not hard to find or execute. I look forward to what Google will bring next.

Super easy to setup & use. Loaded with available apps & can be used for gaming as well with gaming console. Enjoying it very much & definitely recomment.

I came into the store looking for the product and it was not on display, but the associate ordered it for me from the website. I got it later the next week. It took me less than five minutes to set up. I downloaded the apps I wanted to add and was watching Netflix all night. I am pleased.

The performance is always great on these devices, and the interface is much more intuitive and good looking compared to options such as Roku. You have all your great streaming channels on Android TV.

I simply bought this Nexus Player to only play media files via my NAS with Plex in another room. I have a Apple TV 4th Gen in my living room and wanted a less expensive option to playback media. I have to say that the Nexus player is much snappier with loading and playing MKV files.

I needed a new media device with faster capabilities than my old one. This one was definitly the right choice. It works great for hd streaming and has a great selections of apps to download. I have bought 3 so far 2 of them for gift and the people I have given them to absolutely love it too.

It does everything the new chromecasts does and more. It's capable of playing games, playing content off a flash drive and comes with a remote or a gamepad for additional charge.

I am so impressed with the device capabilities. I ended up ditching my Chromecast for the Nexus. I love the fact that you can connect a wireless (bluetooth) gamepad to play several of the Droid games in the Google Play Store. Now, you can add Kodi which will make this worth 4x its value.

So I have a Roku 3 which we love, but needed something to play movies from my NAS (Roku has a horrific interface for it). I am a Google Nexus lover, had every phone and tablet and pretty much got what I expected from the Player. Like most Google things there are some issues. Apps crash, YouTube randomly fails to load any content, we have to reboot it every other day... etc It plays Kodi great so that is really good. If you want a good NAS player then its a great choice especially for $60 or so. If you are looking for an alternative to a Roku then this really isnt it.

I like this because it can make my tv as smart tv I can do hulu plus and sling tv and KODI IF kodi doesn't work, I should buy fire stick instead

I wanted something to stream online with. Mostly I wanted to mirror or cast from my mobile devices and laptop to the big TV, and this does it flawlessly and simply with Google Cast. It is also great with all the apps the player itself has and can use. Great choice for media streamer!

I am a big google user and have a nice collection of movies on Google play store. I love this player and for only $50 it is a steal. If you are heavily invested in the Google ecosystem I would recommend this product.

I bought this android media player for replacement regular cable TV. The quality of video & audio are excellent, great apps, fast wifi connection with AC mode, streaming content very stable in high quality. If you want save money on TV, this media box is a great choice!

I bought this so I can add KODI to it. I have used it for that function only and it has worked just fine. The controller is simple, maybe too simple but other than that no major problems
