I got this for Yupptv and it seems to work and meet the need

This works so much better than my old Roku II. The navigation is seamless.

I bought this for Hulu Plus and to install Kodi so I can watch movies stored on my local network. It works great!

I was looking into this to stream different online content direclty from unit like Vudu and Amazon Prime. Purchased on a Deal of the Day for $50. I was discouraged to find only a few of the video streaming apps (Netflix, Google Play, and Disney Anywhere) that I wanted were available. Vudu, Flixster, and Amazon Video were not available, Unit could act as a Chromecast for Vudu and Flixster but did not justify the cost when a Chromecast is smaller and less expensive. Even the games for the system are very limited. After further research, I would recommend Roku over this for streaming content.

has all the apps and pretty responsive in the menus.

Great item to use. I own a lot of android devices so syncing it is easy. Doesn't do too much but has potential

I bought it for my husband so I haven't been able to play with it enough. I couldn't get Netflix to work because the account was under a different email address. My AT&T account wouldn't work. It seems like they want you to have to pay. I would get Apple TV instead.

Good device for playing some media and Android games.

The Nexus Player is a nice media server. However due to the lack of digital audio output, no regular size USB connector, lack of Ethernet connection and inability to work with older TVs that don't have the latest HDMI version makes it fall behind the competition.

Love the connection to Kodi and built in chromecast. Really wish I could get the WatchESPN app on here.

Not a great as the Apple TV, but it works well. I thought I would of been impressed the way they make it to seem, but ehhh it's another electronic in my house.

Love how this item makes my regular TV into a smart Android TV.

The design is nice and the setup was easy. My issue is with no bitstream for multichannel sound and very few apps. I am more into the Roku 3 due to having both. It could be a lot better in the future though.
