Don't buy it. Can not compete even with chromecast

Reviews that I read are missleading. There are very limited apps working with it. It not a complete android device that you can freely download every app and use it. I also have chromecast, which works fine. In many way chromecast far better than that. In short stay away, don't buy it.

Perfect for my needs

Great for Internet connectivity for TVs

The nexus player is an awesome device *if* you are willing to get or already have, an otg adapter, a newish usb hub 2.0 is alright, a game controller preferably with a keyboard built into one side, and some kind of storage like a 128gb flash drive or say 1tb harddrive which you permanently assign to the nexus. if you understand the the foregoing then this device is for you. perfect.
