Best smart device for the money right here fellas. I use this in my bedroom so I have the same smart features as my Sony 4K. Android TV OS allows for some awesome new apps for everyone (especially cord cutters)

This is a great box to switch to if you want to add some extra smart apps to your T.V. It will not disappoint you if bought on sale.

Google products are always easy to use and good build in quality. But some improvement needed like switched off functionality through remote. Although device is going to sleep mode after certain period of time. But sometimes it hangs and we need to restart the device by pressing physical button. Another disappointment is not supporting app like chrome and Amazon video. Play store should support many other required apps.

The device works great for a short period of time but halfway through movies when using kodi I get buffering on my 2 and 5 ghz wifi. There could be some sort of Wi-Fi interference but I never have buffering on any other devices and this device does not have the capability of doing a hard-line connection. If you are a Comcast customer then TV go does not work with this device but it does work on the Nvidia shield.

it does support many apps as google play although it is Android. Just using YouTube as my Samsung TV YouTube app is not working.

Got the Samsung Tablet after checking reviews on BB and other sites. Good product worth the price. This product is discontinued, otherwise would have bought for friends too.

I have 3 Android tablets, Galaxy Note 2014, Verizon, and Digiland and this won't see any of them. The Verizon one is no surprise since it has 4.2 and this works with 4.4. The other 2 both have the latest version. Still won't see the device. I'm just trying to stream my DirecTV GenieGo shows from my tablet to my TV. Roku 3 came close, but couldn't get a picture without a lot of pixelization.

There isn't much to say about streaming devices, they're all pretty much the same except that each one has a special niche group. I have all of them and like them all but nothing really grabs me. There's a streamer of every eco world you're in. I have Prime so I like Fire TV but Apple TV is just quirky enough that I like it too. If I had to rank them the Nexus would be last.

Very versatile cool little tv box. Has a good processor and supports all sorts of modifying due to the android based platform. Works great as a google cast device as well.

Works great. Faster than Fire TV Stick. Allows loading of numerous google apps for expandability.

It worked well for few days until i had issue with poor wifi network that made sick. Kodi works great.

Bluetooth remote was always buggy. Otherwise a good concept. More responsive than my Roku3.

A good way to make your TV 'smart', has lots of apps. Could do with a network port.

This was a good player when it first came out. Issues arose later. Gladly I purchased a warranty.

as an avid android fan i really looked forward to having the nexus player. overall the experience just didn't live up to the anticipation. the user interface is "clunky" and even with 50mbs d/l from twc i experienced lag while streaming some movies. i understand that android tv is in its infancy, but i am not impressed

Great product for streaming, however I don't think it's very user friendly.

I got this product on line when I received I didn't check it until 3 weeks later to find out that didn't work. I took it to Best buy store and they didn't want to accepted it they told me that it was too late that I have to call Google to return it. I asked for the number and they didn't gave anything.

It's ok but personally I would say that it is not on par with Roku
