With kodi on nexus player this is the best! Leaves every other device miles behind. I can't imagine things could become so easy

I bought this for kodi and its easy to install and configure works great.

The ability to side load apps is HUGE. I also bought this with a USB hub and was able to make the storage space bigger. A lot of people complain about the interface but i find it fine. If youre going to drop 35 for a chromecast consider this device as it does everying a chromecast does but will not drop signal at all and one tie up you devices volume usage.

I own roku, fire tv stick, apple tv and this nexus player tops all of them. Awesome buy for $50.

The Nexus player works great and is very good for streaming movies and applications. The only downside is for being a google device it should have more apps available from google play.

I am very happy with my Nexus Player. I am using with Plex and XBMC.

Set up was easy and does exactly what I purchased it to do.

It's fun and easy to install. perfect to move and reinstall.

Bought this on sale for $50, and even though that was supposedly a great deal I had to take it back. Ran kodi on it and it constantly crashed. My fire stick crashes as well but not on a level that is intolerable. After crashing three times during one show, I decided to return it and take the plunge for an nvidia Sheild. Hoping for better results, but the fire stick works better than this. The remote is lacking as well. There's no secondary menu button no right click function which u do get with a fire stick.

I love that you can watch Youtube and TV channels with it for free. There are also pay movies on it too. So many options with so little time.

You can stream all stuff from your handheld to your TV, playing game and watchng moive on TV quite easy

Well it was between this and the new chromecast and I have to say, I'm glad I chose the player. It's fast, has stand alone apps, has a better wifi chip (802.11ac) and isn't too much more than the chromecast itself and you still get all the features of it plus more!!

wish this worked better with netflix, I have 2 units, and 1 has audio drops randomly every few minutes. Tends to only happen with netflix, other video apps like KODI tend to work fine. If you are primarily using this for KODI, this is a great value overall.

Let me start off by saying im a true Nexus fanboy. Iv ehad every Nexus phone and tablet in exsistance. But i initally was interested in the Nexus Player because my chromecast does everytingh this does for a fraction of the price. So when the Nexus player went on sale, i made an impulse buy and got one. So this is my review; "Meh...." This seems like the forgetten Nexus product. An overpriced chromecast. I guess the games are important to someone, but not myself. Save some money and get the Chromecast

Over all the player is good but there is missing functionality. If you want to watch Amazon Prime video, you will have to side load the app as it is not available for installation. If I had realized this probably world not have bought it and would have bought a Roku or Fire. This is not Google's fault, Amazon is trying to get you to buy their player or at least to avoid Google or some products.

Checked out all the competing products and settled on this one. Rushed to Best Buy to get it. Took it home, set it up- oops, problems with remote: it got stuck, just kept scrolling continuously and wouldn't stop. Re-set it all, a few mins later, screen froze and this happened multiple times where I had to re-set device. Called for tech support- remote is bad, return for new unit. Back to Best Buy, none in stock, get new one shipped (BB was great about this, but still). New one arrives, set it all up (not hard at all) try to get it up and running, have an issue with Games Google Play app. - keep getting an error message and it will not 'add acct' as it should. After countless calls to Google support, --sorry your player is bad, take it back and exchange. I did this last night, rushed home, set it all up--this one has the same problems, only possibly worse!!! This IS an awesome concept and would do amazing things---if only it worked!!!! Whant whant--FAIL, Google!! Pls try again!!

This Streaming box is super cool , I got 3 of them ! I try the amazon fire for few days and was bored of it very fast ! My dad got nexus and after trying his box I decided to switch and I am happy that I did !

I would like for this to have a hardwire connection option. Support is not very available, that I could find anyway.

Very user friendly. It's especially good for Sling TV subscribers. Definitely for the cord cutters.
