    Great Phone

I love this Android Phone. My first was the G1 which was the first. This Nexus S has it all! It is also faster than anything I've owned, ipod touch included. The screen is beautiful and bright and with 16gigs of memory, I have every app that I want. The on-screen keyboard takes some getting used to and I usually speak words and it recognizes my voice pretty good.

This phone is a nicely styled phone works very smoothly as advertised and the 4 inch screen is really nice. I like to stream baseball games and news on the phone and it performs this very well... I replaced my HD2 with this phone and even though I had android 3.2.4 on the sim card from XDA it worked well but ran the battery down fast ... this nexus, will last 8 to 10 hours for me with the screen on brightess setting ... I did get the ICS update last week and it is great ... for a 2 year old model you cant beat it for the price $0.00

    WOW!!! Move over iPhone 4

WOW!!! where do I start... coming from a iPhone since the very first day it came out few years back I thought it would be dificult to pry my iphone 4 off my hands. Well I'm here to tell you this phone is definately a much better phone in ALL counts; slick, FAST, responsive, sexy, better feel, and, did I say FAAAAST (partly thanks to T-Mobiles kick bass data network- and yes they ARE the fastest) !!! And it runs on ANDROID wich have become FAR superior to iOS in all counts. More over- you dont have to be worry sick about if you accidentally drop the thing! unlike the very frigile glass-of-wine feel of my iphone 4 which now can not only break the front screen but ALSO the back, this phone just feels flat SOLID!! Watch for my iPhone 4 on Craigslist tonight! I give it an A+++++

Great phone. I got this to replace my nexus one. I was a little skeptical about going to a samsung manufactured phone after sticking with htc since android launched but i'm glad i took a chance. Great phone runs so smooth. Haven't force closed an app once and it downloads so quickly. The 1Ghz processor makes the phone fly.

    Best Android Experience!

Been used other Android phones in the past, line Driod2, DroidX, Captivate and also a past iPhone4 user, I have to say that this is the best Android experience you can get. Period. The default interface is lag free, very customizable and easy to use. This is the only modern phone with the "Google Experience". That means that as soon that Google gets an OS update out, you get it sooner than all other Android phones. While Samsung, Motorola and others take months to get it ported to their Android phone. Or sometimes they just don't release the update, like many phones out there that are stuck with 2.1 or earlier Android versions. Leaving them with upatched bugs, even security bugs or bugs that leave the customer not been able to use some of the phones features. TL/DR. If you are looking for an Android phone, this is the best you can get.

    Great phone!

This phone was a replacement for a Nexus One that I used for about a year. It had only a half a gig of internal memory and despite the expansion card, it wasn't enough. I found myself having to delete apps to make room for others. So, the 16 gig internal memory in the Nexus S solved that problem! I love the tweaks to the operating system and the phone itself is fast and works great, even on a 3G network. Once we get a 4G here I'm sure it will be even better. The only beef I have with this phone is the battery life is horrible. I would not want to have to rely on it to save my life! I bought another battery for it which I keep charged and carry with me at all times.

    Best Android Phone So Far

Even though the hardware is not much different from Nexus One, the Nexus S is much faster because Google optimize the android system to utilize its full potential. The only thing I don't quite like is that only the power button can light up the screen and there is no LED notification light. So I need to press the power button a lot to check notifications. Overusing the power button might increase the chance of breaking it. Overall, this is the best android phone so far; it's really fast and smooth.

8 OF 10 IN MY BOOK

Good phone, Tmobile service def not better than Verizon. Phone it self is fast and comes with plenty of features. Gps not the greatest just because the locator doesn't always find you unless you're out in the open which sucks because it was never a problem on my old Droid Incredible w Verizon. Gingerbread is nice but not much better than froyo. Overall I like having new gadgets and this phone is above average in all categories. No sd card slot is my biggest gripe. 16gb built in -thats it! Would I recommend the phone.... yes.

The best x-mas present I've ever got. Turn it on, provide your Google account logon and minutes later you have your calendar, contacts, pictures and e-mails available on your smart-phone. Data exchange: No problem since it shows up as a USB stick on your PC. Just copy the files from the PC to the Nexus or vice versa - iPhone users are jealous about this. Speech recognition - awesome. Tell your phone what you want, where you want or speak your message instead of typing! It works very well - much better than I expected. Screen: Crystal clear, high resolution and the glass doesn't get greasy like the iPhone's one. Applications can be downloaded without having a credit card or registering the PC with the store. You can even define whether you wanna download or install not only from the Android store. I can highly recommend the Nexus S. You can buy it without a contract - one of the key factors I bought it. Only one little drawback: With AT&T you cannot use 3G, since one of the GSM frequencies is not supported by the Nexus S.

A great flagship phone for Android!

The speed of this phone, battery life (over a day for normal use) and feature set make this the best phone I have ever owned hands down. It was an upgrade from a G1 and the two can't hardly even be compared. The on-screen keyboard was a concern for me since the hardware keyboard was one reason I bought the G1 originally over an iPhone. The on-screen keyboard for the Nexus S is very responsive with good sized keys and the predictive text is much much better than it used to be. While extended use of GPS and Navigation means you should get a car charger, it will still do an hour plus trip and maintain some battery for the rest of the day. USB tethering to PC is built right into the OS, making it great for airport travel. Highly recommended.

Ok I have had this phone for a month now and I love it. I had one of the original Blackberry Curve with the trackball and cant believe that I even liked it after getting this phone. It has extreamly fast internet, easy to learn and just an all around fun phone to have. The only problem with this phone is the battery but that is the same issue with all android/iPhone smart phones now.

Got this cos I need an unlocked GSM phone when I travel. iPhone is too expensive. Interface not as smooth as iPhone, but still very usable. Pure Google Android without crud from your carrier pre-installed. Well made by Samsung. Great display. Accessible battery. I get reasonable battery life from this phone. I use it as much as my old iPod touch(2nd gen) and need to recharge every night just like the iPod. Integrates well with your Google accounts if you use that stuff. Would recommend if you are looking for an unlocked smartphone for less than $100. If your budget is in the lux category, spring for the iPhone.

Allowed me to give up my iPhone at last

The new Google Nexus S is my first foray into the Android world, but it has gone remarkably smoothly and I am now totally weaned from my (very old) iPhone which I refused to upgrade due to a desire to avoid any more commitments to AT&T. The transition to the Nexus S was even smooth in the area of email (I am not a Gmail user, but have focused instead on Exchange and POP/IMAP services) and syncing of calendar and conctacts. the increase in performance was immediately obvious (how did I put up with the very slow web browsing on the iPhone?). I have found that essentially all the apps that I on my iphone were available (often from the same vendor) on the android, so there is nothing missing. My only complaint to date is that the email program does not permit the transfer of messages from the in box to other folders, which seems odd given the capabilities and folder-orientation of exchange and IMAP. So, good-bye iPhone and hello Android. I'm more than happy with the transition on the new Google phone!

I've had cell phones for years. Since my first Motorola Star-Tac I've been looking for the perfect phone. This one is the closest I've come to. The interface is beautiful. The phone is beautiful. Things work so well. It's so customizable! That's what Iove about android. I can do what I want with it! It ties in very well with all my google services. The reaction is speedy, as well. I installed swype on it (the swype keyboard is amazing!) and it works like a charm. I've used it on slower or older android phones and you would suffer from lag. Not on this! It's a rockstar! I highly recommend this phone to see what a real android phone can do.

Good build quality and great system which is currently the latest phone from Google which will always get the latest updates. Poor battery life comparing to powerful performance. Some softwares have compatible issues or not fully leverage the features with/of the 2.3 system within android market. Overall good phone.
