Great Google Phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good Android phone. Perfect for me after enjoying the G1 for the last two years. Texting is a little challenging for me as a novice texter. I do use the speech function and it works OK. Hotspot is AWESOME. Cancelled my iPad 3G and it saves me 25.00 monthly. I will likely buy at least one extra battery since I travel alot and would like a backup. So far I would rate it a 10 out of 10.

Great Phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my new Nexus S! This is a very fast phone, with noticable speed differences between it and my other/previous phone the iPhone 4 and Samsung Vibrant.

Nice device
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a long time iPhone App developer, I wanted a personal phone on TMo that could come close. This is a very nice phone. My only complaint is that the WiFi does not fully reenable after a waking the device from sleep. When this happens, the device thinks it does not have an internet connection, and doesn't seem to automatically fall back to 3G. I have resorted to leaving the WiFi off because of this. Other than that, bright display, good reception. Battery seems to last about 2 days normal use.

Excellent smartphone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had smartphones since their inception. From the Blackberry to the iPhone I have owned them all. However, the Nexus S surpasses all my previous phones and also many of the phones on the market currently. The screen resolution is rich. The ability to play flash video is great.

Great Phone if ther woulnd't be AT&T
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone has great features Android 2.3 and a AMOLED screen. Finally an Android phone with a front facing camera! It would easily be an iPhone killer if AT&T would allow 3G servive to reach this phone. On an AT&T network the only think I was able to get was EDGE connections. That for a Smart Phone of this calibre is a no go. However if you intend to use iot with T-Mobile you might have purchased the best Smart Phone there is to date.

The best phone I've ever had
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far this is the best phone I have ever had... though to be fair, its my first "Android" phone. My favorite feature is the portable WIFI hotspot which I've used a few times now to get some work done but didn't have a network hookup available. My only complaint is that this particular phone doesn't support the AT&T version of 3G. However, I knew that going into the purchase.

Excellent unlocked phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great phone which is everything it claims to be. Without repeating comments by other reviewers, I would say that the main pull factor is being able to buy it unlocked. The phone arrived, unlocked, and worked right out of the box with my old 2G SIM card. No hassle with service providers, nothing to set up. (Though, of course, now I have it on a 3G data plan.)

No 4G speeds = NO 5 Stars
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Until T mobile opens up 4G data speeds for this device-- no 5Stars. As you purchase this, keep in mind that you will only surf @ 3G speeds if not Edge --- Go Figure! Not the fault of the phone-- the phone is insane! It is well spec'd and snappy! but what good is a phone with low speeds :) #epicfail TMO!

BEST
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hands down the phone to get if you have T-Mobile, or if you have Sprint, get the Nexus S 4g, you can't go wrong with a phone like this, I wasn't eligible for an upgrade so I had to spend $529.99 which I really didn't want to do, but after having the phone, it was soo worth it!

Cool product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Google's Android interface is great! I've been waiting for a real Near Field Communication (NFC) phone for a couple of years. Google has made it first ahead of the pack!

Good for an Anroid phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For an Android phone this is a really nice one. My battery will last over 4 days without a charge. If you compare the PIM apps to a Palm from 1998 the Palm blows Android away. Android has a long way to go. The GUI locks up once in a while. It seems to happen when the headset is plugged in or unplugged. This can be fixed with a software update. Every once in a while the USB flakes out and the battery will have to be removed. Most apps do not have sync capability. You lose your phone, or drop it and break it and you lose your information. This is unacceptable to me. It is impossible to write sync code to applications with the Android security model the way it is. Syncing in the cloud is a huge security risk. The data is stored unencrypted on the server and unencrypted during transport. If you don't have any need for privacy then it is okay. All of the carriers will not let you use the phone without a data plan. A data plan is not needed at all.

awesome free smart phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is great. It took some getting used to, but I love it. I was not crazy about switching to a touch screen, but it has grown on me and I already find myself touching other people's screens forgetting that not all phones are touch screen. There are many things I have yet to learn, but I am loving it.

My best phone purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After so many smartphone purchases over the years I have finally found the phone to keep for a VERY long time. I do so enjoy the "clean" Android 2.3. VERY few added applications from the carrier. Also I do so enjoy that the phone will always be the first to be upgraded when Android is updated. The phone has excellent reception. The battery lasts a long time (for a smartphone)

Good phone, terrible battery life
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is very fast, but battery life makes it worthless. Charged the phone overnight to 100%, and without using it (on stand by), it was dead by 2 p.m. No single program was running on it.

Almost there
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The speed of the phone is great, the feel of the phone is great. The only complaint I have is no notification LED. I'm getting by with out it fine but I would have liked it. My battery lasts me 2 days with moderate use. Picture quality is great. A camera button would have been nice.
