Camera is alot better screen is noticably better. Glad I upgrade from my pixel 2 xl. Battery life has not been an issue for me what's so over. I write this review at 11.47 I woke up at 5.50am. Granted I do not use constantly I have a job and am not phone centric in my life where it's all I do. And my battery is at 87 percent not using battery saver and brightness is 80 percent.... Great phone got black Friday 128gb model. Was well worth the price

After all the bad reviews, I still had to have this phone. I am a huge Google user. I found that I disagreed with most of the reviews. Yes, it does not support fingerprint, but the face unlock is getting better and better. More apps are using the face unlock now too, and more to come. The phone battery is way better than my pixel 2. It usually gets me through my day unless I am using it heavily on games, etc. All in all, a great phone.

This is my 2nd Google Pixel phone and am very happy with it. My favorite feature is the squeeze to ask Google. It also has a excellent camera.

Still the Google-made Android phone to get

After a little over a year of ownership, the Pixel 4 XL has been a pretty good phone for me. I wanted something that had flagship-level specs, really good camera for all situations (including low-light and night shots), constant OS and security updates, and a minimalist look. The phone can still bring it, and I'd recommend for someone that wants an Android device from Google, but wants higher specs than the current more mid-range Pixel 5 and 5a.

Camera is excellent, but some illogical choices

The camera is great, but Google omitted a telephoto lens (like every other flagship has this year) for some reason. Still an amazing camera, though. Honestly not much of an upgrade from last year's Pixel, but just like that one, this one is great. I like the new Soli sensor, it's neat to snooze my alarm without touching the phone, but very limited usage. Not a huge fan of face unlock as the only quick unlock, I miss the fingerprint scanner, why take that away? All in all, I like the phone, but I'm a little confused by some of Google's choices.

The Pixel 4 XL is a big step up from the Pixel 3. The screen still has more of a blue tint than iPhones, which I'm not a huge fan of, but the phone is a steak for the price. I personally have not had any battery life issues or any other issues. The phone isn't going to get people excited, but it works well, and when you can get it in sale it's about the best deal I know if.

I had a Google pixel 1 that I swapped this phone out for, I would probably still keep that one if it wasn't for the battery dying and excited for the awesome new toys on this one. I will always be a Google phone guy. Love it. Wife does too, she had an iPhone.

I have had Samsung and Motorola phones for the last 10+ years. When I wasn't able to get another Samsung due to the whole covid 19 mess, the customer service rep asked me what I knew about the Google Pixel. My son had had the Pixel 3 and recently upgraded to the Pixel 4 and said he loved it. So I decided to give a try and go for it. I am so happy I did. The Pixel 4 is an easy to use powerhouse with an unbelievable camera.

I read a lot of reviews online about this phone. Having had a pixel in the past I was excited to upgrade but almost did not because of the negative reviews. Do not believe them. This phone is fantastic. I can get almost 1.5 days of battery Life, with consistent use. Camera is excellent as I have grown to expect with this line of products.

First time Pixel owner. I like the phone so far, I'm just trying to get used to the functions since they are different from Galaxy. The night site cam is great if you are able to hold steady for 3 seconds. Pics come out pretty awesome. The swipe method to go back on pages has been a challenge but I am getting the hang of it. I wish they would come out with more case options though. "Hey Google" pretty much does everything for me. I love it.
