I was one of the unlucky Samsung Note 7 owners, so when this became available I thought, wow this is great. When it arrived it was in a very impressive box, even better than Samsung's. Upon opening it, it appeared to be a very impressive looking phone, with one exception... The chin! Since it had no physical button there, I don't know why it's there. It serves no purpose that to take up screen space. Upon turning on the Pixel, I was impressed with the clarity of the screen and lack of bloatware. I had to try Google Assistant right away, so I quickly went through the set-up skipping the data transfer at this point. Google Assistant is as good as everyone has said and then some. I was able to string many connected queries together and Google Assistant kept up for the most part! The camera is amazing and very fast. In fact, I'm not sure there is a faster focusing phone camera out there. I was really disappointed with no expandable memory capability, which was buffered a little with the fact that Google allows for unlimited photo/video storage. But I really think expandable memory would have made this an outstanding phone. Also, the fact that it is not waterproof worries me a little, but just means I must be a little more careful than I have been. Speaking of that, two days after getting the phone I managed to drop it on a brick floor from about 3 feet, and it survived it with only a minor scratch on the top! I think this is a great phone that Google software only makes better, but no memory expansion and not waterproof brings it down. Also, it charges very quickly, however there is no wireless charging. A good "Google" first try, but I think the next go arounf will be even better. Recommended.

Very fast when using apps, camera is very good Bought 2 of them with no problems at the 4 month mark.

My son and I purchased new Google phone for my wife. She likes it, but is still learning how to use it, because her last phone was an Iphone. My younger son is jealous and wants a Google phone too. She recently took some pictures at some scenery while we were in the care and they came out very nice. I think they are nicer that the I phone's pictures.

After using a HTC One M8 I wanted to upgrade to a faster Android phone. I found the Samsung Galaxy a bit plastic. I love the solid, machined feel of the Pixel and the phone is lightning fast. Any Google fan will love this phone, and I highly recommend getting one outright (not on a contract) without all the preloaded apps.

Great phone but there are a few things I didn't like. Doesn't have an audible battery warning so I have found my phone dead several times. It has an indicator, just not a sound that lets you know your battery life is critically low like my S7 did. Will try to find an app I guess. Love the camera though and the unlimited photo storage which was my main reason for upgrading to this from the S7.

Phone is very clean of bloatware. lots of settings where you think they should be and easily adjusted. camera is great. Photosphere app and photos you take is cool for viewing in VR. Phone is VR ready. I got the Day Dream Viewer that the phone pairs perfectly with. phone does get very warm running VR apps though.

I formerly had phones from the galaxy line. I've always preferred android. When I initially heard about the Pixel, it peaked my interest right away. And it hasn't disappointed. Easy to use. A clean android experience. Timely updates. I love the Google Assistant. The only thing missing is waterproofing.

I purchased this phone as a gift for my brother. Its the best phone on the market today, not just the best android phone. The build quality is great, screen is awesome and the OS is extremely stable. I wanted to just give up my iPhone 7+ and use this. Recommend everyone to buy this

Everything is smooth and fast ...No clutter apps that are on the phone that don't need to be there.thats a big plus plus the Google assistant is awesome! One downside was with an update that caused my phone calls not to be heard but with another update it fixed itself over time but it was an inconvenience with a brand new phone but there are always bugs

I have owned several phones made by HTC so this was an easy choice for me. The phone fits my hand well. It is easy to navigate the opening screen. The texting screens are the best yet. I am still learning some of the various other apps and things. I am not disappointed.

The new Nougat OS is very fast on the Pixel without all the bloat that you'd get on other Android devices. The screen is crisp, the camera is one of the best out there, and the fast charging with USB-C is awesome! The only features its lacking compared to the competition are wireless charging and being waterproof, neither of which I mind.

Great battery life. Perfect integration with everything Google. Now Samsung needs to get rid of all the garbage they load up on their Android phones and all the layers that delay Android updates. Thankyou Google for saving us from being forced to switch to I-Phone.

My first premium smartphone. Screen quality is excellent, better than my last mid priced phone. Fits my shirt pockets better than an XL. Plan to use it for a while so I bought it unlocked. Android nougat works fine and I chose this phone expecting timely updates.
