Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Pixel 5 5G 128GB's battery life and camera quality, frequently praising its performance and ease of use. Many appreciate the phone's smaller size while maintaining a good screen size, along with its storage capacity and 5G capabilities. However, some users reported issues with Bluetooth connectivity and found the user interface to be somewhat different from previous versions. The price point was also generally considered favorable.

Of course, it's a great phone, that is also fast and can take doing multiple tasks at once, but I was also really impressed with the battery life. At night I don't even charge it because if you put the phone on extreme battery saver it will only use essentials apps like messages, phone, alarm, etc. I tested this and when I went to bed, my phone had a 78% charge and when I woke up about 7 hours later, it had about 77%. A really great phone that I don't even have to worry about dying on me.

Real happy I picked up this phone. There are people who talk about a gap between the screen and case, but mine does not have that. Some mention the haptic feedback is weak, but I don't feel it is weak at all. It feels light, works pretty snappy, and does not overheat like my Pixel 3 did when streaming a football game. Camera of course takes great photos in a variety of situations. Hooks up to my infotainment system in Honda Ridgeline with no problems. The calls do sound a bit different. Can't explain it, and I can still hear conversations fine, but there is something that is a bit different.

Upgraded from Pixel 3XL and love the 5 just as much. Other than battery performance dropping a little bit after 4 years of use, my 3XL was by far the best phone I've owned. I got toa point though where the large size started to bother me. When the Pixel 6 was released I was excited and went into Best Buy with every intention to buy one...until I held it in my hand. It was just as big as my 3XL. Deal breaker for me. So I opted for the 5 and have no regrets after a few months. The size is perfect and it's performed flawlessly. 5G speeds have been nice. As others have started, the speakers take a little getting used to but aren't awful like some day (at least for me). Really hoping Google goes back to 6" phone in the near future.

Works fast easy to use. Great camera. Had a pixel 3 before so not alot of difference that I have noticed. Only thing I hate is the back button is on the screen when you swipe from left to right, so there are alot of getting in and out of my email as I am deleting.

So fast and responsive. The battery life is way better than my pixel 3xl and the camera is the best on the market. Male sure to update everything as you want have the right experience till you do. Lots of updates needed out of the box.

I had an iphone 7, but chose to upgrade to the Pixel 5 instead of the newest iphone based on 2 things: 1. Google claimed to have a better camera, which I agree with and 2. price. It was $400 cheaper than the latest iphone. That being said, next time I upgrade I will be going back to the iphone. It is more user friendly. Managing notifications and other settings seems to be more cumbersome on this device. I also liked the free unlimited photo storage Google offered, but one month after I got set up they put limits on storage, so I'm almost maxed out on that.

I upgraded my old Pixel phone to the Pixel 5. The Good - the battery lasts much longer, lots of storage space (128GB), takes great photos, and a reasonable price. The Bad - the phone is buggy, the phone randomly resets volume to 100%, Android Auto and Google Assistant are buggy together (sometimes verbal instructions to call someone within AA don't work & asking the phone to read messages is hit and miss). But it's half the price of competing phones.

What a GREAT PHONE !!!! It is a nice size ......... NOT a HUGE phone that takes up your entire pocket yet since it is edge to edge screen there is enough screen space. The battery life on this phone is the MOST amazing thing I have noticed. I literally have gone almost 72 hours (3 days) without charging it ....... and I have used it like my previous phone which lasted at best 1 day. The Google system is very efficient and worth it !

After owning numerous versions of the Pixel line, I think Google finally got it right. The price makes sense considering the upper mid range processor which easily handles the way I use my phone; web browsing, YouTube and YTTV. Coming from the Pixel 4 I still consider this an upgrade. Battery life is amazing with about 6 hours of SOT compared to barely 3 hours with my Pixel 4 on a good day. I think Google better understands where they need to be; not top shelf flagship specs but an excellent device for the majority of people.

I had a Pixel 3XL that just up and died. So I had to get another phone. The only complaint is the size of the screen. It's much smaller than what I had but that's not the phone's fault so I still give this a 5 star. But the power is double. The RAM and ROM are double. So this is a much faster phone. I am glad I got it and the 5G is much better than 4G LTE. I would recommend this phone since it's native Google and not bloated with overlays like other Android phones get.

I would give this phone 5 stars. Great battery life, especially coming from the 4. No more face recognition, but have come to like the fingerprint. You can do multiple, so all your fingers. For some reason, this phone will not connect to my car. My car is old, but has bluetooth. After weighing the pros and cons, I decided I would return it, but I was too late. So now, I'm stuck with this great phone that doesn't connect to my car, which is why I'm giving it four stars.

Surprisingly comfortable in the hand. Good battery life, lasts me about 2 days on a single charge. Not a fan of the gesture based navigation, after about a day I swapped over to the traditional 3 button android navigation instead. The 90hz screen is pretty nice, makes everything feel snappier and more responsive. Would have liked to see some facial recognition added as well.

I went from a Pixel 2XL to the 5 and feel that is was a good, incremental upgrade. Feels a little bit faster and the form factor is nice and compact. The battery life is very noticable and lasts a very long time. The audio is a bit muffled, but since I am always pairing my devices with a bluetooth headset or earbuds, that results in a moot point. Overall, I think it is a solid phone. If you are looking for flagship qualities, at a good price, this will work.

Love this phone. I originally got the Pixel 6, but it was too big and heavy. This phone fits perfectly in the pocket and is easy to hold. The battery, while not huge, easily lasts me through the day with some to spare with moderate use. The camera is also very good.

Love this phone it's so snappy and quick response when opening and switching to another app, the battery last almost a whole 24 hours if I'm not watching YouTube videos for a complete 3 hours. The camera is excellent as well can't complain much about it. Plus it's really light too.

This is my 3rd Pixel (1,3 & 5). They have all been good. The pixel 5 addressed a battery life issue that plagued previous versions. This is, by far, the best value android phone that is out there. Other family members have the iPhone 12 Pro..... they are very comparable in performance, batter life, camera and image quality. Great buy!!
