This was purchased as a gift for my wife as she has a Pixel 6 phone. She says that these headphones are the best that she has ever had and she has had many ( over6 different sets).

I own a pixel 4 and have been a pixel fan since before it was pixel (nexus if you remember). I loved the usb headphones that came with the pixels originally but lost them eventually. I was going to buy a replacement recently as I thought the buds of all variety and brand were an exuberant expense when I could just get regular ones. I decided to splurge this time though and got the pixel buds specifically because I figured they would be best for the pixel. They are lovely and perfect for the google assistant integration. I'll never look back.

Hi ChuzG, we appreciate you for investing high on Google Pixel devices, and thanks for your feedback on Pixel Buds A-Series. It’s good to hear you like them and they work well with your Pixel phone. We made a few focused tradeoffs to bring the same sound quality, design language, and Google helpfulness of Pixel Buds to this more affordable price. One of those was the focus on tap controls for Pixel Buds A-Series. That said, you can still use Google Assistant to turn the volume up and down or turn on Adaptive Sound to adjust the volume based on your surroundings.

Good value. Excellent sound quality. Google made some common sense feature reductions to the pricier version to get to a more palatable price point. True-wireless buds are the way to go.

Great design, good fit. Lack of noise cancellation and low volume is making this otherwise great product pretty average.

      Posted .

Hi John, thanks for sharing feedback about your Google Pixel Buds A-Series. We're glad that you find the design great and the fit is good for you.

We understand that outdoor environments can be noisy, especially if you're in the office or somewhere like a city street, cafe, or subway. With Adaptive Sound feature, your A-Series will subtly and automatically optimize volume based on the noise level of your environment. To enable Adaptive Sound, simply follow these steps:
      - On a Pixel phone with Android 10+: Go to Settings > and then Connected devices > and then Pixel Bud's settings.
      - Other Androids: Open your Google Pixel Buds app.
      - Tap Sound and then Adaptive Sound.
      - Toggle Adaptive Sound.

We also recommend trying out all 3 ear tip sizes to find the most comfortable tip for you, and ensure that you get the best ear tip seal. A good seal will definitely impact the sound quality, and will increase the bass sound levels that you hear.

If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our support team and we'll be more than happy to assist you. You can reach us here anytime: https://support.google.com/googlepixelbuds/gethelp madebygoogle

Audio quality was nice and the commands were easy to understand and use but not worth the price. I found them to be quite painful as well with the part that stretches out your lobe to keep them in place.
