Flagship?
|Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So after the initial razzle dazzle has worn off, what do i think of the Pixel Pro 2 earbuds? Eh. Not very enthusiastic for four stars. The Pro 2 doesn't do anything better than the competition, in fact, it has worse audio quality over the Sennheiser and Sony IEH flagships, worse ANC than the Sony, worse call clarity than the Apple airpods pro... So why buy the Google flagship? And why did i keep mine? Because it doesnt have any major weakness. While my time with them hasn't set me completely in fiery love with the product, there isn't any one thing these don't do pretty darn well. There are better sounding headphones, better microphone clarity around loud ambient noise, more comfortable, better ANC, better in app equalizers, but all of those come with bigger drawbacks. Google has an incredibly well rounded earbud with the Pro 2 that has apple level device integration. If you have an android, and your looking for only one set of flagship earbuds to do pretty much everything, and integrate seamlessly with your android device, it's hard to do better than these. They have no major strengths (Outside the incredible device integration), and no major weaknesses. If you use Google Assistant or Gemini, these are THE option. It will be very exciting to see how Google continues to refine their product, and i look forward to the Pro 3s really bringing the heat to Apple.

Good sound
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They sound good but the touch controls are a bit wonky. You have to hit at the right angle to get them to work.

Great for Pixel users (and Android too)
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't love the color, but the buds themselves are excellent. The wing tips are not a welcome addition compared to the last generation, but they do seem to result in better sound quality. Overall, I would highly recommend these to any android user (Pixel specifically), if you are on a Samsung device, consider alternatives through Samsung directly.

Good — not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These do the job — sound quality is great, but comfort and noise canceling are inferior to Airpods Pro.

Really Nice, could even be better
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very Nice high quality ear pieces, Noise cancellation is wonderful, occasionally pops out of my ear, but I have long heavy dreads that bump them. and I'm hard of hearing they don't allow me to use my VA hearing aids,(hearing aid option!!) I rate them as Good and agree with them, but for me could have been 5 with hearing aid function.

Worth the price.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Little tricky sometimes twisting them into ears for ideal fit, but sound on this Pro 2 model is well worth the extra price.

Love them
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much better than the pixel buds 1st generation. With the Gen ones I couldn't connect my left earpiece at all despite it being brand new. It seems the generation ones have had this issue for a good while, which made me feel less crazy! I'm so glad I upgraded and bought these because they are flawless and the quality is just what I wanted!

Expensive yet barely adequate
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty okay. Sound quality is solid, the ability to control listening navigation with a single earbud is great, noise cancellation is excellent. What sucks: 1. Battery life is awful 2. Find my device noise is whisper quiet and requires the case to be within range of your phone rather than the wifi. 3. The barest hint of moisture on your fingers causes the noise cancellation to toggle. While I like these, I regret replacing my $35 cheapos with this. I did not get my money's worth at all.

Posted .Thanks for reaching out about your Pixel Buds Pro 2, RobD. While we’re glad you're enjoying the sound quality and noise cancelling, we hear your concerns regarding battery life. Your earbuds will last depending on a few things but you can expect 12 hours of listening time without Active Noise Cancellation on and 8 hours listening time with ANC turned on.
