These Google Pixel Pro 2 ear buds are great. I did not think they would impress me. Having the noise cancelling really makes a difference. They fit comfortably in my ear and have excellent sound quality. Love the app options too.

These are pretty solid headphones. I was hesitant to buy them but I'm glad I did I will say that in super loud environments they do decently well but these really shine in normal noise environments. 0 sound from the outside if that's what your looking for. Good buy.

The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 earbuds have caught my full attention. The first time I opened the box to these earbuds, I was impressed by their size and sleek design. The smooth matte exterior case finish feels extremely premium, I found myself constantly playing with the case. They come with four different ear tips which were useful to me because I struggle to find earbuds that fit into my larger ears. The “twist-to-adjust” stabilizer was also a unique feature, helping achieve a comfortable fit that was firm but not overbearing. If you’ve ever had a battle with sweaty or loose-fitting earbuds that constantly were falling out, you’ll appreciate how well these buds stay planted. Connecting the Buds was a breeze, my Android device popped right up with an interactive prompt pairing quickly. It automatically showed me which app to download and install to get all the features and access to device settings. I like how seamlessly the buds pair and how effortlessly they transfer between Google devices. If you’re already heavily invested in the Google ecosystem, these buds are a fantastic add. One thing to note, as far as I’m aware, these buds are only fully functional with Android devices. While you can connect them to other devices (iPhone, laptop, etc), you will only get sound, you won’t be able to customize actions, integrate with your device as well, or update the firmware. Additionally, the Find My Device integration is very useful. It helped me to locate a lost case quickly. Quite the convenience you don’t typically notice until you need it! Battery life is adequate, I was typically seeing 4-5 hours in my use before needing to top up from the case again. Google states they can reach approximately 8 hours without the case but that’s with extra features turned off. Listening to music at a moderate volume with noise cancellation on depletes them faster, listening to a podcast at a lower volume in an already quiet environment, the buds last longer. I’m quite happy with the battery life. The buds boast a very impressive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature, removing twice the unwanted noise of the 1st generation. From a busy coffee shop, the gym, or an airplane, the Active Noise Cancellation performed remarkably well, keeping me isolated in my own quiet bubble. Powered by Google’s Tensor A1 chip, the ANC feature and overall sound quality are quite pleasing, the lows, mids, and highs are well balanced and make for crystal clear audio. Conversation Detection was another interesting, very useful, and yet sometimes hilarious feature I’ve come across. If someone walked up to me and started speaking, or if I started a conversation, the ear buds were quick to automatically pause my music and switch to transparency mode to hear what was going on around me. However, I’ve also discovered that I apparently talk to myself out loud, thus accidentally triggering the feature and pausing my music. While it doesn’t work perfectly in all environments (lots of people talking in a coffee shop, loud news talk show, or other random audio can trigger the feature unexpectedly), when you’re in the right environment (best use case I found was a quiet office setting), that feature works fantastic. I loved not having to physically remove the earbuds every time someone walked up to me to ask me a quick question. Overall, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are a fantastic choice, especially for Pixel users. From the comfortable fit to fantastic sound quality and noise cancellation, Google has put a lot of thought into making these earbuds stand out. Whether you need them for exercise, commuting, or just enjoy ear buds that integrate seamlessly, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 deliver in every aspect.

Now I do like them, but sometimes it is hard to hear phone calls even when the phone is turned up to the highest. Other times, there can be a slight high pitch sound from them, but other than that, they are pretty good. They work amazingly at the gym and just for watching videos and listening to music.

I bought a pair of the original Pixel Buds when they launched a few years ago, and returned them a day later due to the constant Bluetooth drop outs if you were outside. It was a problem Google acknowledged and eventually fixed, but I've stuck with another brand for the past couple of years. At the same time, I'm on my 4th Pixel phone and our whole home is Google products, so I was excited for the Buds Pro 2 because of all the updates and I wanted to get back to earbuds that work seamlessly with my Pixel phone. The first thing that shocked me out of the box was the size. These are small and light, which makes them extremely comfortable for long durations. It's to the point where I almost forget they're on because if I start talking, they mute and let you have a conversation. The transparency mode is also nice to have when you're out on a walk with the dog and you can hear cars approaching. Sound is solid, but you'll definitely want to do some tweaks in the EQ settings to get to your preference. Google is great with updates so I wouldn't be surprised to see some audio enhancements down the line. Bluetooth connection is strong with no drop outs, and calls sound good on both ends. The swipe/touch controls can be tailored to what you want and are easy to use. Also, this says they are color "Hazel", but they're more of a gray than a green. That's not a complaint, I love the color, but wanted to point it out in case someone expected a green. The case for the buds is small and rounded, and about half the size of the case for my current earbuds. For someone who travels a lot, every bit of space is important so this is appreciated! The AI features are cool and I know I'm just scratching the surface of what they can do. I'm dying to try out the live translation feature, which would be a game changer when traveling. Also, I'm happy that Google included the ability to connect to 2 BT devices at one time. It's nice to be able to listen to music, switch over to a work call, and then right back to music. It's not always seamless, but it works more than it doesn't and it's a great feature. Overall, are these the best sounding earbuds on the market? Probably not, but they're about half the price of the ones that are and they still sound great. As a traveler, I appreciate the good quality sound, the ANC with transparency/dialogue modes, and the small, lightweight design that allows maximum comfort over long uses. I highly recommend these, particularly if you're a Pixel user.

Just cannot go back to cheaper alternatives. Using these with a Pixel device just works, and with active pass through, you never miss conversations when someone walks up on you. This is the second pair I have purchased.

Not sure what happened to Bluetooth connectivity between these earbuds and the generation before, but Google has to set up a firmware update or something because the Bluetooth connectivity issues are ongoing, extensive, and frequent. I would walk about 2 blocks in a crowded city area and the audio would keep glitching out, stuttering, dropping, etc... I had to return them which is a shame since the last generation of these was pretty good. Apart from Bluetooth the audio quality is good and the battery life is great as well.
