Great workout earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First try at Pixel's earbuds and love these. I have no issues with them when lifting or running. Used then on a 5k and they didn't move or change position in my ear. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great pair of earbuds (used with Pixel 8 and pairing was flawless).

A major upgrade from the previous buds
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The original Pixel buds were great but after trying these out, it blew my mind how much better they are. My only gripe is the right bud doesn't fit my ear correctly so I have to adjust it at times

Good not great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good earbuds but not great. The fit at least for me is not as good as the original pro. Noise cancelling seemed better on the original pro as well.

Great sound, poor fit
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought as upgrade from Pixel buds pro, excellent features and sound. Only complaint is how they fit in my ears. Not nearly as good as the first series of the Pro buds.

Posted .Thanks for being part of Google fam, StCloud! We’re glad you’re enjoying the upgraded sound and features. That said, we hear you on wanting a more snug fit. Here’s some steps to help:
1. Try different sizes for each ear to find the best fit: ears are unique so your left ear may be different from your right ear.
2. Use the Eartip Seal Check: It can help you check the quality of your eartip seal and get the best possible sound. On Android devices: Open the Google Pixel Buds app then tap Eartip Seal Check.
3. Try memory foam eartips: If you’re not getting a perfect fit with our silicone eartips, memory foam eartips might be worth a try.

Great but still touch controls...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a previous owner of the original Pixel Buds, I decided to try the Pixel Buds Pro 2, hoping they’d fix some of the issues I had with the earlier model. While there are definitely improvements, a few key problems remain. One of the big features Google is promoting is the addition of their new Gemini sound technology, which promises a richer, more immersive audio experience. I have to say, the sound quality is a noticeable step up. The bass is more powerful without overwhelming the mids and highs, making for a well-balanced listening experience. Paired with improved Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), these earbuds do a great job blocking out background noise, whether you’re on a noisy commute or just trying to focus. Another feature I found useful is the transparency mode, which lets you hear what's going on around you while still listening to audio. This is especially helpful in situations where you need to stay aware of your surroundings or engage in quick conversations without taking out the buds. For me, it even helps with hearing people more clearly, almost like a subtle hearing aid, which is a great addition. You can also use Live Translate with these, allowing you to translate conversations in real-time. While I haven’t had much opportunity to use this feature extensively, in the few tests I tried, it seemed to work fairly well. It’s not a feature I’ll use every day, but for travelers or those needing quick language support, it could be a real asset. One feature I appreciated is the seal check, which helps ensure you’re getting the best possible fit. The earbuds test the seal in your ears and guide you to adjust them if needed, which improves both sound quality and noise cancellation. This helps a lot with comfort, too, since a good fit makes a big difference when wearing them for long periods. However, my biggest frustration with the original Pixel Buds—touch controls—remains. The controls are still overly sensitive, and it’s easy to accidentally pause or skip tracks when adjusting the buds or even when brushing against them. I was really hoping for physical buttons or a less finicky touch system, but unfortunately, this hasn’t changed. Another feature that sounds great on paper is the conversation detection. This is supposed to automatically pause your music when it detects you’re talking. In reality, it doesn’t always work as expected. Sometimes it pauses the audio when I’m not speaking or doesn’t kick in fast enough when I do start talking. It’s a bit inconsistent and could use some fine-tuning. On a positive note, the battery life is excellent. You get up to 11 hours of listening time on a single charge, and the charging case brings the total to 31 hours. The case itself is compact and supports wireless charging, which is a convenient feature. In summary, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 bring significant upgrades like improved sound, noise cancellation, and smart features some may find useful. However, the touch controls remain a major annoyance for me personally, and conversation detection isn’t as reliable as it should be. If you’re heavily invested in Google’s ecosystem and can overlook these drawbacks, these earbuds are a solid choice.

Short battery life.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good sound and noise cancelling. Pass through sound works well. They don`t lock in like is advertised and have fallen out a couple times. Battery life is short, 6 -7 hrs, with minimum use.

Posted .Hey there, Bob62. We’re glad that you're enjoying the Pixel Buds Pro 2 and we hear your concerns on battery life and the need for a more snug fit. Here’s some tips to get the most out of your earbuds.
In regards to battery life: you should get 12 hours listening time without ANC and 8 hours listening time with ANC turned on. With a fully charged wireless charging case that increases to 48 hours total listening time and 30 hours with ANC turned on
As for the fit: your Pixel Buds are pre-attached with medium eartips and come with small and large ear tips so that you can improve your fit. A tight seal gives you better sound, noise cancellation, and mic performance. If you are not getting the audio or call quality you expect, try bigger eartips.

Decent arbuds, apart from nonstop Bluetooth issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not sure what happened to Bluetooth connectivity between these earbuds and the generation before, but Google has to set up a firmware update or something because the Bluetooth connectivity issues are ongoing, extensive, and frequent. I would walk about 2 blocks in a crowded city area and the audio would keep glitching out, stuttering, dropping, etc... I had to return them which is a shame since the last generation of these was pretty good. Apart from Bluetooth the audio quality is good and the battery life is great as well.

They're okay
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was amazing at first but I feel like it's not displaying the noise cancelling feature like it did when I first used it and I can't do anything in the settings for them like I could with my older model.

Posted .Hey there, user715300. While we're happy you were initially enjoying the Pixel Buds Pro 2, we hear your concerns regarding noise cancellation. A quick reset will normally solve most issues — here’s how:
1. Go to your device’s Bluetooth settings and forget Google Pixel Buds.
2. Plug the charging case into a power source using a USB-C cable.
3. Make sure the Pixel Buds are seated within the charging case and leave the charging case open.
4. Press and hold the pairing button on the back of the case for 30 seconds.
5. When the earbuds status light stops bouncing, let go of the pairing button.
6. Check the earbuds status lights.
