I rate them as Good and agree with them, but for me could have been 5 with hearing aid function.

With the Gen ones I couldn't connect my left earpiece at all despite it being brand new. It seems the generation ones have had this issue for a good while, which made me feel less crazy! I'm so glad I upgraded and bought these because they are flawless and the quality is just what I wanted!

Good Sound, but not secure

The noise cancelling and call clarity seem to work nice.wasy pairing. Major flaw is if you use them to workout. They are not secure at all and Google should take page from betas and others and add some type of internal ear clip for additional security.

The noise canceling is indeed better than just the Pros. That said, the whole idea of them locking in for a tight fit is nonsense. In fact, the Pro's fit better than the Pro 2's in my opinion. Overall, they are fine but I wouldn't spend the extra money on them. The Pixel Buds Pro are perfectly fine.

ANC is one of the better I've ever had on a set of buds. For comparison I had a set of Sony XM5 and these are just a touch below them and that is saying something since the Sonys are probably the best on market for ANC. Sound... sounds great until the phone starts trying to control output at high levels when you don't ask for it. It starts muddying up the feedback, making it sound hollow in and out of loudness Sounds horrible I don't use them for daily driver headphones based on the sound quality. Phone calls need help also, people always tell me they cannot hear me well. I cannot recommend these based on sound and phone call quality but if you want a set of buds with great ANC these are for you. Google can do better

Open the Google Pixel Buds app:
1. Tap Sound and then Equalizer (EQ) settings.
2. Move the sliders to adjust each frequency or pick a preset from the list.
Regarding call quality, if you are in a noisy environment, transparency mode may interfere with your mic output quality since it uses one of the microphones to let you hear your surroundings. Try changing ANC modes to improve your call quality.

The "screw in" feature keeps the buds in place longer and are much more comfortable. They feel much lighter than that original ones, and are much smaller. The ANC is great, and honestly I sometimes forget I have one in my ear if the ANC is on and I'm not playing anything. Great upgrade, I definitely recommend them.
