Bought these to replace the original Pixel buds I had. The sound is better, battery life seems to be better than the original. Easy to connect to my Pixel phone and both of my laptops. And I got them at a great price.

You're getting exactly what it says. Very pleased with this. Definitely no complaints here. I especially love being able to use these with Google assistant (my whole house is Google so it's perfect). I also enjoy being able to swap between noise cancelling and transparency mode.

These have been my best earbud purchase to date. They are comfortable and the noise canceling is bona fide. I use them with my Pixel 7 Pro and iPhone 14 and don't notice a difference between devices. Glad I went with the pro version.

Excellent sound quality, a good comfortable fit, and the noise cancellation is worth the extra cost. For Pixel users, they can't be beat. Great for working out or laying in the sun, you always have good sound quality with you.

I owned the Pixel Buds A-series buds before this par, and these are such an improvement. The noise cancellation is amazing, the fit is super comfortable even for extended periods, and the sound quality is top notch. The touch controls and Google Assistant integration are perfect.

I'm not a fan of ANC but sound quality. Acceptable sound quality but this keeps popping out from my ears even with the correct tips. I now admit that the Airpod Pro (or the like) design is the best fit and comfortable for my ears.

The latency issues make these nearly unusable

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have a Google Pixel 7 and thought these would be a perfect choice to pair with it. The design looked good and I heard good things about the noise cancelling. I opened them today and the set up was easy. They fit nicely in my ears and they were not that big. Then u started watching videos and immediately noticed there was a bit of delay between the video and audio. It wasn't much, but it was noticeable. I looked up the issue and was disappointed to find out that it's a result of them not supporting low latency codecs. I wanted to possibly resign to just accepting that loss and hoping for an update that fixes it. That's when i pulled up a game on my phone. There was a full ONE SECOND DELAY. For being called the "pro" version and being $200, this is just completely unacceptable. I'm returning mine today. If you're just using these for YouTube and for music, you can probably get by, but any other video app, video call, or especially games will almost immediately show their fatal flaw.

Great sound. Great definition. They don't get loud loud. Hear thru is awful. Sounds like you're in a wind tunnel with hear thru. Cool feature: when it senses you're talking, the playback automatically pauses. I recommend.

Good day, PaulC! Thanks for the feedback and for giving us a good rating on Pixel Buds Pro. We hear your concerns about the volume quality along with the transparency mode.

We recommend trying out all 3 ear tip sizes for each ear to find the most comfortable tip for you. Your Pixel Buds are pre-attached with medium eartips and come with small and large ear tips so that you can improve your fit. Ears are unique so your left ear may be different from your right ear. A tight seal gives you better sound and mic performance. If you are not getting the audio or call quality you expect, try bigger eartips. To swap eartips, pull the attached ear tip off and press the other ear tip onto the earbud until you feel a light snap. Gently pull on the eartip to ensure that it's properly attached.

You can check the device settings like Volume EQ or Adaptive Sound. With Volume EQ, tuning adapts dynamically to your listening volume, making subtle changes to the frequency curve as you change the volume. This ensures that highs, mids and lows are balanced and nuanced at any volume. You can use the preset or customize the EQ to match their preferred sound quality. You can also toggle the Adaptive Sound slider to automatically optimize the volume based on the environmental noise.

I am a big fan of a lot of Google products..was a personal fan of the original pixel buds, and really liked the A series. It was the same for the pixel buds pro, with the addition of ANC being a game changer and the touch controls being so useful. I am now more disappointed with Google than the product, as there have been persistent issues with uneven charging and battery drain across the user base. And there has not been much support or response from Google to these issues, which is sad to see. Still love the product when it works, and hoping to see some kind of firmware update or item replacement to fix these issues.

Had the first generation, Samsung buds which the finally quit. Since I bought the Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel watch i figured to grab them, they stay in place when wearing motorcycle helmet and they have great bass.

Great improvement over the previous models which sounded great but would not stay in my ear. These (with the help of 3rd party tips) fit very well and sound is great, but even better is the noise cancellation. Wireless charging is also a bonus!

The sound quality of these earbuds is amazing. The noise-canceling mode is pretty awesome. I only rated these a 3 because of how slippery they are. My Samsung earbuds had a nice winglet that secured the bud in place. These lack that feature, and it can frankly be maddening. I routinely find myself re-adjusting to get them back inside my ear. I tend to use earbuds when I mow the lawn because of the noise canceling, but the vibration and bumps of the terrain cause these to dislodge frequently. I just ordered some cellphone grip tape from an online retailer named after a river. I find it ridiculous that I spend $200 on a pair of earbuds that I have to MacGyver with grip tape just to stay in my ear. If you remain perfectly still, they're just fine.

Hello Neth, thanks for sharing your feedback on your Pixel Buds Pro. It's unfortunate to hear that your experience with the fit of the earbuds was less than ideal and that you had to find an alternative solution. Ears are unique so your left ear may be different from your right ear. We recommend trying different sizes for each ear to find the best fit. If you’re not getting a perfect fit with our silicone eartips, memory foam eartips might be worth a try. High quality headphones with a nice design. The earbuds themselves feel secure while exercising and I've worn them for a long period and not had any discomfort. Transparency mode is fine, but definitely is lacking compared to other headphones with similar features. Battery life on the buds are fine, but the charging case needs to be charged more than I would have expected. The only gripe I have with them is that sometimes they have difficulty connecting when I first open the case and will need me to try multiple times. Could be my phone (Galaxy S22 Ultra) or the buds, but it's a small enough issue that I still use them.

Hi David, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We're glad to hear that you like the quality and design on the new Pixel Buds Pro.

If charging your Pixel Buds Pro seems longer than usual, we recommend trying out some troubleshooting below to try and fix the charging problems:
      - Clean the charging contacts on the earbuds and within the case.
      - If they have not successfully retained a charge, try a factory reset.
      - For wireless charging: Try realigning the case on the charging surface.

If you haven't tried yet, resetting your Pixel Buds Pro may be helpful with the connectivity issue. Resetting the Pixel Buds and case will reset all their settings. This includes the name of the device and preferences for enabling/disabling features.
      - Go to your device’s Bluetooth settings and forget Google Pixel Buds.
      - Plug the charging case into a power source using the included USB-A to USB-C cable.
      - Ensure the Pixel Buds are seated within the charging case and leave the charging case open.
      - Press and hold the pairing button on the back of the case for 30 seconds.
      - When the earbuds status light (for Google Pixel Buds, this is the light inside the opened case) stops bouncing, let go of the pairing button.
      - The earbuds status light will blink white and orange until the reset is complete, and then start bouncing white. Your Google -Pixel Buds will be reset and should be ready to pair immediately.
      - You will need to forget and re-pair any other devices Pixel Buds were paired with.
