They never fit well, even when I purchased foam tips that are supposed to give a more snug fit. I'm replacing these but with a different brand. I'm a Google fan, but not of this product.

Disappointing and possibly defective

I traded in my competitor-branded earbuds because they had problems getting and staying connected to my Pixel phone. Unfortunately, the pair I received were a massive disappointment. The biggest dealbreaker for me is an incessant sound in the right earbud when ANC or Transparency mode are in use. It sounds like static or like someone constantly blowing on a microphone. The noise is noticeable at all times whether content is playing or not. The only escape is to turn off one of the major features of the Pixel Buds, and even then, the right earbud doesn't sound quite right. The most charitable explanation is that I have a defective product, but there are reviews dating back years in this product line detailing similar issues. I followed the factory reset instructions on Google's support page to see if perhaps that would help but to no avail. The sound persists. I had my husband try them on as well to see if it was a 'me' issue and he noticed the same issue immediately without my prompting. It is ridiculously easy to misclick the earbud. Keeping in mind I only used the product about an hour due to the aforementioned static, I found it all too easy to accidentally trigger commands on the earbuds such as tapping the bud vs holding, or accidentally messing with the volume control. I am returning my product tomorrow, and I haven't decided if I'll give the Pixel Buds Pro another shot. The only reason this is a two star review and not a one star is because the setup process with my Pixel phone was seamless and the earbuds are comfortable.

I returned mine. The software features are great, namely integrated Google assistant with notification readoff. The fit is good not great. The reason I returned them was because they were worse than my Galaxy Buds Pro Gen 1. The wind isolation and noise cancellation were extremely subpar, and that's why they went back!

Your Pixel Buds come pre-attached with medium eartips and come with small and large ear tips so that you can improve your fit. Ears are unique so your left ear may be different from your right ear. Try different sizes for each ear to find the best fit. A tight seal gives you better sound, noise cancellation, and mic performance. If you are not getting the audio or call quality you expect, try bigger eartips. To swap eartips, pull the attached eartip off and press the other eartip onto the earbud until you feel a light snap. Gently pull on the eartip to ensure that it's properly attached.

The connection to the phone and watch is cool. However, these buds lag, HARD. There is no fix and Google has not answered any user feedback. All media playback is laggy, all gaming playback is laggy. All call playback is laggy. These are useless. I have $20 dollar buds that outperform these. Total waste of time and money. Avoid like the plague.
