Posted .Hello Ms1232, Thanks for posting your concerns about your Pixel Buds Pro when it comes to the quality of the materials and the fit in your ear. Please know that aside from the pre-attached medium eartips, it also comes with small and large ear tips so that you can improve your fit. Ears are unique so your left ear may be different from your right ear. We recommend trying different sizes for each ear to find the best fit. If you still feel any discomfort with the fit, we advise that you remove the Pixel Buds Pro from your ear and reach out to our support specialists so we can help you with finding a better resolution. Solid build with good sound quality and ANC
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Google Pixel Buds Pro feature a simple design and a robust build. The case has a nice pocketable shape and the slight texture means fewer drops and less scratches showing on the surface. Charging can be done via USB-C or wirelessly. Battery life has been great and I usually just throw them on the charging pad every couple of days while I sleep. Sound quality is on par with other buds in this price range and I would describe them as having a relaxed sound signature. Slightly elevated bass, but not muddy and a bit of the top end rolled off to make longer listening sessions easier on the ears. Comfort for me was good but not great, the shape of the buds themselve are great for my ear but I haven't found a tip that is super comfortable yet. The tips would start to hurt my ear canal after about an hour. Sound isolation is great and I'm really happy with the noise cancelation feature. It easily removes most of the noise in my household such as fans, air conditioning and the kids TV in the next room. The touch controls work well and with very little delay. Wish these included aptX support for improved latency when watching videos and higher bit rate for audio especially since I would think these are geared towards Android users. Other than that great set of buds that do what you need them to do.

Headphone for solace
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Alright, so the Buds Pro really kick it up a notch with their noise-cancelling game. Whether I'm chilling in the park, surviving my commute, or trying to block out the chaos of office life, these buds have got me covered. And let's talk about the transparency mode – genius move. I can jam to my tunes and still catch bike bells, office rumors, and announcements. Now, here's the deal – the battery life is solid, but it taps out around half a day. So, you'll find yourself popping them back into the case for a recharge. Despite this little hiccup, if you're all about drowning out the world or subtly tuning into it, the Buds Pro are a slick choice for top-notch noise cancellation and a versatile audio experience.

Posted .Hi Sonny, thanks for your feedback on Pixel Buds Pro. We’re sorry to hear they don’t fit well, and that it activates touch control when you’re trying to wear them back. If you find yourself not wanting to use the Google Pixel Buds’ touch controls for your earbuds, you can turn them off. When you turn off touch controls, the Pixel Buds won't respond to any touches or taps, but you can still get hands-free help from your Google Assistant and say "Hey Google". You can turn off touch controls from your phone or ask the Google Assistant.
From the phone:
- On a Pixel phone with Android 10+: Go to the phone’s Settings > Connected devices > Pixel Bud's settings.
- On other Android devices: Open the Google Pixel Buds app.
- Tap Touch controls.
- To turn off touch controls, tap the toggle button.
Through the Google Assistant:
- You can say "Hey Google, turn off touch controls".
Your Pixel Buds are pre-attached with medium eartips and come with small and large ear tips so that you can improve your fit. Ears are unique so your left ear may be different from your right ear. Try different sizes for each ear to find the best fit. A tight seal gives you better sound, noise cancellation, and mic performance.Since every ear is unique, it’s not always possible to get a perfect seal, and audio can “leak” in from outside. With Silent Seal™, Pixel Buds Pro can adapt to the shape of your ear and adjust Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to compensate, so you can fully immerse yourself in music or clearly hear your video call. Great headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually got these earbuds for free with a phone purchase. I also have the previous model but mostly use the beats fit pro. These headphones work great but do tend to move in my ears somewhat if I'm being active. The quality is very good and as I stated the sound is very good along with the noise cancellation. I just wish they would have implemented some kind of fin or hook to help keep them in place. Other than that they work great.

Posted .Hey there, Tony! We appreciate your feedback on Pixel Buds Pro and we're glad that they work great. We hear your concern about having a stabilizer arc so they can stay in place.
We’ve balanced the weight of the Pixel Buds Pro so they can stay in your ear without the stabilizer arc. We’ve moved the center of gravity closer to the ear canal, and have developed an ear tip fit test to make sure you select the correct ear tip size for optimal stability and seal. Your Pixel Buds are pre-attached with medium eartips and come with small and large ear tips so that you can improve your fit. Try different sizes for each ear to find the best fit. Long battery life, great sound quality, ify ANC.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality on these is really good. While listening to some of my favorite songs I was surprised to hear notes and instruments that I never noticed listening on my speakers. The bass response is decent, nice and clear, without being boomy. A few certain notes do distort though, and some notes just don't even try to play, but I kind of expected that as very few headphones can play the super low notes and even some full sized drivers don't play the sub bass frequency very well when the bass really drops low. The highs are beautiful, like sparkling bells, very articulate and well defined. I'd give the sound quality a solid 7 or 8 out of 10. The noise canceling on the other hand doesn't seem to work very well at all. When I put the buds in my ears I can hear a hiss, that turns out is from the HVAC system, which in real life is so quiet it's pretty much un noticeable. However when I put the headphones in it jumps out of the background and is very noticeable. But if I hit the noise canceling feature the hiss goes away... kind of odd that it's able to cleanly cut out a noise that isn't normally noticed unless wearing the headphones, almost like they amplify the noise when not actively canceling it. That would be cool if it also cut all the rest of the background noises as well, but they only seem to be able to cancel the HVAC fan noise, as I could still hear everyone in the room, all the paper shuffling, the printer, the phones ringing, doors opening and closing etc.. pretty close to the same loudness with or without the noise canceling. I COULD hear myself talking better with the noise canceling turned off, but still not as well as just simply removing one ear piece. 1 other issue I experienced is that when I do leave the earpieces in my ears and I try to talk to someone, the sound of myself talking in the earpiece distorts and breaks up, I have a deep voice, and the pass through on the Buds just can't handle it and end up sounding like an old blown out car speaker. Hopefully it works better for others with less bassy voices. I also had an issue with them playing in my pocket if I took them out but put them in my pocket instead of in the included case, sometimes I'd walk into a quiet area only to hear music quietly playing from my pants... I know I had paused my music before I took them out, so somehow they will activate themselves if bumped around together.

Posted .Hi Chris, thanks for sharing your feedback with us, and we’re glad that you find the sound quality of the Pixel Buds Pro good. But are sorry to learn that you’re having issues with the performance and other features.
Google Pixel Buds Pro create a quiet foundation so your music can shine. Active Noise Cancellation with Silent Sea adapts to your unique ear shape, and the earbuds fit in your ear canal to maximize the amount of noise blocked. Rather than using an off-the-shelf solution, Pixel Buds Pro’s Active Noise Cancellation uses an integrated system developed by Google, with a custom processor, custom algorithms, and custom speakers. You can use Transparency mode for the moments when you don’t want to be fully immersed, like when running or crossing streets. Pixel Buds Pro process a wide range of frequencies with low latency to keep the audio sounding natural and in sync. This custom integration lets sound enter in real time, so you can keep on moving almost as if you weren’t wearing earbuds.
Also, Volume EQ, dynamically adapting to your listening volume and making subtle tweaks to the frequency curve. For example, when you lower the volume, Pixel Buds Pro increase the bass while ensuring mid and high frequencies are balanced. Later this year, Pixel Buds Pro also support spatial audio to put you in the middle of the action when watching a movie or TV show with a compatible device and supported content.

Great earbuds, wonderful noise cancelling
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Google Pixel Buds Pro earbuds are a worthy competitor in the very competitive wireless earbuds offerings. After using them for several days I'm very impressed. The earbuds come attractively packaged in a compact box which I appreciated (I really don't like bulky packages that waste space). One nice touch is that the silicone tips come packaged in a little cardboard "pill case" instead of just a little plastic bag. This keeps the tips from deforming, although that isn't a large concern. I need to use large tips and they fit well, although the silicone tips feel a little slippery and I wish they gripped a little better. The earbuds come in a stylish, pocket friendly charging case that has a USB-C port. It did not come with a USB-C cable, which at this price point I would have expected. One thing that surprised me is that the case is capable of wireless charging, but the charger will need to be a flat charger rather than an upright charger like that for phones. The earbuds came fully charged. While I think it's possible to pair the earbuds without using the Pixel Buds app, I used the app to setup everything up. This included a firmware update which took about 5min, and initial setup. Bluetooth pairing was effortless and just worked. I paired them with my Android phone, Windows 11 laptop and Windows 11 desktop PC without issues. The noise cancelling feature is awesome! I'm shocked at how well it works. I sometimes work in environments with moderate background noise and the earbuds filtered that out very well. I even wore them while mowing the lawn and the noise cancelling really helped reduce the mower noise. Sound quality is excellent. I tested with streaming music, streaming movies, and local music from my phone and everything sounded great.

Posted .Hi there buckeyestargazer, thanks for posting a detailed review of your Pixel buds Pro with us. We're glad to hear that you find it impressive after fully testing it for several days.
Dust and moisture build can cause some build up of grime on the earbud tips, making it slippery and loose grip. Cleaning the eartips regularly will help prevent this issue. Very happy with this purchase, very worth it.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality is amazing. The case is big enough to not lose often, but small enough to carry in a purse or pocket. The battery life, depending on how you use the earbuds, can last over a week, at the most. They are fast to connect and do not give you any discomfort or pain in your ears.

Definitive Upgrade from Original Pixel Buds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've personally been enjoying these earbuds, my favorite is using the Active Noise Cancellation injunction with the transparency mode. Swapping between both and frankly it's quite handy and quick to swap when I need to listen to someone or something.

Near perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like these buds. I had the precious generation and these are definitely a step up. The noise cancelling is pretty good, you definitely notice when it switches on. The transparency mode is nice and automatically turns on when you are only using one bud. The sound quality is pretty good. One of my issues with the previous generation buds was the ear fit, once I start sweating they would start slipping out of my ear. These buds are a slight improvement but far from great. The battery life on these are awesome. I can use them for an entire workday without a charge no problem, the glorious generation was good for a couple of hours before they needed to go back in the case. Overall these buds are near perfect, I just wish they stayed in the ear a little better.

Posted .Hi Apollo, we're happy to hear that you liked your Pixel Buds Pro and we thank you for being an advocate of our products. We do apologize for any difficulty you may be having with the fit whenever you start sweating. Your Pixel Buds are pre-attached with medium eartips and come with small and large ear tips so that you can improve your fit. Ears are unique so your left ear may be different from your right ear. Try different sizes for each ear to find the best fit. A tight seal gives you better sound, noise cancellation, and mic performance. If you are not getting the audio or call quality you expect, try bigger eartips. To swap eartips, pull the attached eartip off and press the other ear tip onto the earbud until you feel a light snap. Gently pull on the eartip to ensure that it's properly attached. We also recommend ensuring you get the right fit by gently inserting your earbud into the ear. After inserting each earbud, slightly rotate it back and forth until it comfortably stays in place when you move your head or tap either earbud. We value your experience with our products, and if you have any further help needed, please consider reaching out to us via the Pixel Buds help page here: https://support.google.com/googlepixelbuds/gethelp

Great earbuds for on the go!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds are very cool and sound amazing! I like the ease of controls by tapping your earbuds. The Noise cancelling was great while traveling by bus, train, and plane. There's 3 noise cancelling settings but I only use 2. The transparency mode is pretty much useless cuz it creates an annoying hissing noise, so I customized the settings to only toggle between full-noise-cancelling and No noise cancelling. These earbuds connect automatically when you remove them from the case are smart enough to know when it's in your ears. I have always preferred over-ear headphones and still do but these are great for when I'm on the go.
