As many say, these do have quality issues. I like them, alot actually. If you use Pixel phones they integrate flawlessly and I'd say is worth it. They sound quite good, are comfortable, and responsive. While I've never had buzzing or hissing, one bud will drop for half a second infrequently but for $200 it shouldn't happen ever. I have also noticed the battery discharge though it hasn't interfered with my experience.

Hi Stavey, thanks for leaving a review. We appreciate that you like your Google Pixel Buds despite having quality issues. This is not the kind of experience we want you to have.
We suggest doing the simple steps below that may help: - Plug the charging case into a power source using the included USB-A to USB-C® cable. - Ensure the Pixel Buds are seated within the charging case and leave the charging case open. - Press and hold the pairing button on the back of the case for 30 seconds. - When the earbuds status light stops blinking, let go of the pairing button. - The earbuds status light will blink white and orange until the reset is complete and then start blinking white. Your Google Pixel Buds will be reset and should be ready to pair immediately.

Fit feels secure. Works great with my Pixel 2, not so great with my Surface Book. I'm looking forward to the future updates to fix the rare connections issues.

Overall, I absolutely love these headphones. I have no clue what other reviewers are saying when they talk about how noise gets in easily because it really doesn't. They block out noise enough, and sure, it's not dead silent, but they aren't made for that. They have an amazing range in the highs, mids and even the lows! They hold their charge very well, and I personally like how they don't look like an antenna sticking out of my ear (like the apple air pods). Experiencing both air pods and the pixel buds, I'd prefer the pixel buds.

I've never owned wireless earbuds before. I'm not a huge fan of earbuds in general. I find them to be somewhat uncomfortable. These earbuds come with different size attachments so that you can adjust them to fit better into your ear holes. You can obviously also have different sizes for each ear.
Connecting the earbuds to my mobile device was very easy. It took less than 5 minutes. They work very well for the most part. They have a long battery life. The one thing I've noticed is that the microphone cuts out if I'm not using the earbuds very close to my phone. Sometimes even just having my phone in my pants pocket is too far away to use without interference.
Other than that I am pleased with them.

Super slick looking. Can't feel them when in ear correctly. Need time to adjust fit with its unique design. Sounds quality for music is 6.5 out of 10. Phone conversation is better 8 out of 10.

So I bought the pixel buds 2 to test out the premium earphone market during this COVID era. Disclaimer: I also bought the Samsung galaxy buds+ as I was torn between the 2. I tested out the Samsung buds+ first, and hence my pixel review will be in comparison with SB+. To be frank SB+ was the first premium earphones I ever had and I was honestly surprised by the quality and clarity.
1. The pixel buds are good, do not get me wrong. But the features are lacking, to be frank. The auto ambient sound that was supposed to be the next-gen awesome thing is nice to have but it can be a bit slow to work. For example I was on a train and while the train is in motion, it took around 10-15 seconds for the ambient feature to kick in. I wished the buds had an option like the SB+ to turn it on/off. The only way I could drown out the train noise was to increase the volume, which kind of beats the purpose of the feature.
2. The fit is a bit awkward. I switched out all the earbud tips to have a good fit as recommended by multiple online providers but for some reason nothing seemed to be 'Oh this is perfect fit for me!' kind of experience. The right bud kept sticking out after 20 mins in my ear.
3. The call quality is good/fantastic which is something I have wanted for the million of zoom calls that we have in this COVID era. Please note the SB+ was good approximately 85-90% of the time and then I would have the stuck in the washer machine sound.
Hence in my humble opinion I would hold on ordering these at least for now. I may get a lot of hate for this post but I wished someone would have told me this before I bought these.

They are very comfy. There is a bit of a learning curve for me but over all, you can hear well out of them and people can hear you clearly without all the background noise.

They're excellent earbuds and they sound better than anything I've ever tried. Less than a year though, they no longer hold a charge at all and no longer connected to phone. But thanks to the geek squad I am being sent a brand new replacement pair.
Once again the geek squad came through for me. I love Best buy in the geek squad.
I love these earbuds I just wish Google would make sure that they all function 100% and last like you'd expect them to at the price. Google made a great product but skimped on quality.

Product is decent, sound quality is good. However had some issues with bluetooth connection only working with one ear bud. I just reset the buds and it worked again. Still not worth 180

If you own a Google Pixel, these are a must. I don't know how we lived so long without them. We own them in two colors now and they sync so well with our phones as soon as we take them out. We use one at a time during phone calls so that when the battery of one dies, we put it back in to be charged and take out the other one. These are also awesome for music while running or exercising. They stay in and the sound from one ear to the other is fantastic. The wireless charging feature is great too.

I wanted to like these but just the issues due to the price point they are not worth it. The positive is that ergonomically they fit great and have three ear bud sizes for inner ear inserts.
The issue I had was the left bud would not connect and would show up but seemed to be faulty. The firmware did not not upgrade as easily as was told and after it was updated the sound would cut in and out.
I had to contact Google and they sent me a new pair. However after updating the firmware and connecting I still have issue with echoing and intermittent dropping of sound. This was also while not having Google assist enabled. With Google assist enabled they will disconnect and not reconnect and have to be reset.
For the price point and lack of functionality you are better getting another brand. I love my Air Pods with them and have no issues with sound but lose a lot of the additional functionality. Definitely I love to like them but a big dissapointment.

My only problem was the rubber wing. I hate that it's not adjustable or can be removed. It put pressure on my ear and I just couldn't keep them in. It took a while to even get good at putting them in. But the sound is amazing and I love the Google Assistant feature. If they fit in your ear you will love them. I wish they worked for me :(

They sound great; I can hear lyrics I've never noticed with other headphones or even the Google Home Max. They can be annoying though. The capacitive sides respond when I pull out a bud, causing music to play/pause when I am putting them back in the case. Sometimes they pause for no reason. When I'm at the gym sometime they have enough issues that I put them away. For example one earbud will stop playing and nothing I do will make them function properly—presumably because of interference.
Good overall but Google needs to push some fixes in future updates.

I really like them, they are easy to use, they connect very fast each time, I mostly use them for calling people and joining conference calls. The battery last very long (I think 2 hours per bud) I think I have to recharge the case once per week.
The google assistant also works perfectly.
Only issue is the little rubber part to keep it in place in the ear, sometimes you can feel it pushing, and then it starts irritating you, but that might only be me.

I was eager to get these when they came out, but the reality is I've been less than impressed with them overall. From the moment I used them they've been really buggy, one ear going in and out of connection, being disconnected in really random moments, short battery life, not connecting consistently. I understand that they're working with a lot of new tech, but they really should have kept this unreleased a little longer to fix all these remaining issues. I assume there've been updates sent to the case because I'm noticing LESS issues today than when I first bought them, but it's still extremely buggy and I find my much much much cheaper wireless earphone to be more convenient for me when I go to the gym or for a run than carrying these and HOPING that it won't randomly disconnnect or start doing something stupid. I'd recommend waiting until the next generation of these before purchasing.

Pretty much all the online reviews are spot on with this. The Google Assistant integration is by far the best of the best. If you need these while you're on the go, and want the best integration with GA then look no furthur. They sound absolutly fantastic too. I know a lot of people compare them to Sony's equivelant, but I don't really think you'll notice that big of a difference in the end. Especially when usability is key.
I haven't experience any issues so far that others have descibed. I believe that was fixed with a firmware update recently.

I waited quite a while for these buds to release and then waited again for the color I wanted but have to say it was worth the wait. I never experienced any of the issues that some others did, and I gather those have all been fixed by updates. Great product to use with my pixel phone. Love the ease of use and good audio quality for a pair of buds. Touch controls and Google assistant integration feel intuitive and nice to have.
