They are the Google answer to the Airpods and I personaly like them better. Especiay since Google has really worked out the kinks from launch. Work flawlessly with my Pixel and even worked very well with my girlfriend's iPhone. Best headphones I've owned. Just wish the battery was a little longer lasting.

I can't believe Google has the audacity to charge nearly 200 for these things. They skip, stutter and pause constantly, even after all recent updates. They fall out easily, especially if you get sweaty. You cannot wear a beanie with them, it will force them to pause unpause constantly if you cover your ears at all so you can't wear these int he cold with a skullcap or beanie.
Lastly, they just sound okay. Nothing spectacular. I'm sad. I have had two Google Pixel phones, I have Google Fi, Google Wi Fi, Google Nest, etc. But these suuuuuck.

if you have a phone that's not a Pixel don't get these. Go get the other junk that's out there.
Now if you are a Pixel owner this is the only ear buds to get.
Much more feature rich when combined with a Pixel phone.
Especially a Pixel 5

Perfect companion for your Pixel Phone

If you have a Pixel or Android phone, this is the perfect companion. If you have an iPhone, you might want to look elsewhere.
Out of the box, you will get a Bluetooth skipping issue. You'll need to update to v552 to fix this issue.
However, the features that Android provides, is very powerful and useful.

Until Google releases another firmware update to resolve the Bluetooth connection issues I suggest purchasing a different vendor's ear buds unless you can live the audio cutouts.

I have heard of problems with these buds with the disconnecting etc. I have not had a problem since I've got them. They work great. I love all the features they have. Don't let those negative comments stray you away from a good pair of pixel buds.

Had these for over a year, during that time, they worked fine, but four months after the limited warranty ended, the left bud quit working and the case battery drains quickly.

Good quality, assistant is brilliant and average battery life.
But keep falling out a ears, tried all nozzles. Near to impossible to do any sports with it (jogging, cycling, walking with dog =) ). On top of this, some times one of the headphone losing connection to the Pixel 4, which is in my pocket (but it's minor problem compare to falling)
And even more, looks like not good noise/wind cancelation during calls (Zoom, Meet), my colleague keep telling me that they can't hear me.
Wish to return them, but BestBuy had only two weeks for that=\ all this time I thought I can use them and keep giving them a chance, but they just fair.

Just like the earlier one I had reviewed (mint color), these ear buds are a must have for Pixel owners. The orange color is a bit tricky to get as it gets sold out quickly. So put it in your wish list, and as soon as you get an email from Best Buy, go ahead and order it before it's too late!

These buds have ok sound, amazing build quality and feel, and really good gestures.
However, they suffer from static noise that make them unusable. Google says that noise is present in all Bluetooth headsets ( from personal experience galaxy buds+ and Jabra 65t do not).
Google rolled an update (296) to fix the problem which made the hissing quieter in some instances, but it made the hissing much more frequent.
These could have been my favorite pair of earbuds if Google had some sort of quality standard.

I bought this pixel buds for my husband. He loves it so much and it’s better than the air pods since it has a lot of options buy tapping the buds itself. Now Im jealous because my is air pods since I have an iphone. He is so happy since I gave it to him as a Christmas present.

Disappointed with the headphones. Turning your head the wrong way would cause the headphone to cut out. The battery life of the headphones was poor and needed be recharge regularly. I'll give it another shot when they come out with a newer version. For now I'll stick with the galaxy buds.
The one nice part of the pixel buds is the Google assistant. It was the main reason I purchased in the first place. The assistant was great but couldn't overcome the many other issues.

There was so much promise. These buds look good. They paired to my phone (Pixel 5) with about 10 seconds of effort. The touch controls work pretty well.
However - these buds will NOT stream audio reliably. When connected to my phone, they drop audio at least once a minute. I've followed forum instructions on re-pairing and re-setting these.. I've patiently waited for firmware updates, with each one promising to fix this well-known issue. Spoiler: None of them did.
I'd recommend getting something else. Using these is a frustrating experience.

Left bud charges but doesn't connect or do anything really. Right bud works fine. However, I can no longer return these because I purchased them a couple of weeks for getting the Pixel 5. Not opening or using them until receiving my Pixel only to find the issue and it be out of the returnable date. Two lessons were learned today.
1.) Buy stuff like this when you are able to test it out same day.
2.) Never buying anything Pixel again. Not too happy with the phone either.
