I am an avid runner and I always have issues with earbuds staying in my ears. These were different, they stay glued in on long runs, and are incredibly comfortable. They are super intuitive to use with the touch controls, and the Google Assistant integration is a real high point. Call quality is also pretty solid. Cons: 2 words - Audio. Cutouts. When using these I have CONSTANT audio drops with no rhyme or reason. Firmware updates did not help, Google support could not help. I've tried everything to fix this, but the issue seems to occur most often for me while using GPS while running. I've tried multiple fitness apps, smart watches, multiple phones (Pixel 3 and Pixel 5), pre downloading my music before runs, nothing helped. Audio cuts in and out every few seconds to the point that it ruins your workout. At times I wanted to throw these in the woods and be done with it. For the naysayers, I also have used both the Jabra Elite Active 65t and Jaybird Vista, and neither have these issues. Overall: I wanted so bad to love these ear buds, but I just cant. I am an avid Pixel / Google product enthusiast, but after several firmware updates and calls to support, I still have constant audio cut outs to the point that these are unusable for my active lifestyle. For normal around the house use, these seem to function fine and I still use them to take work conference calls with decent call quality.

Great sound, bad connection

There are problems with Bluetooth connections. Google says this will be fixed but had I known how long the fix would take, I probably would have bought something else.

Then the left ear bud just quit working. Google only refunds the actual price paid, not the tax you paid. And the process of getting this refund is turning into a week now. I have had nothing but trouble with Google products. I do like the Pixel phones. I've been a Pixel phone owner since the Pixel 2 XL. But after repeated hassles with their other products. I'm not doing business with Google again. Guess I'll also see why so many people like Samsung phones.

I bought this gift two weeks prior to my mother’s visit; who from another country. The person who is supposed to receive the gift is a foreigner as well. I gave the earbuds to my mom when she was leaving, and upon arrival back to her country she gave the earbuds to my friend. There was absolutely no damage to the package. But the airbuds I paid over $100 for, does not work!!!!! How is this so!!!!!! Someone reach out to me because this is ridiculous!!! I demand refund or an exchange.
