Audio briefly cuts out every 1min 50secs

While the design is great, the sound is good, and they are comfortable, they are still plagued with issues. Even with the latest firmware 550 to correct bluetooth connections, the audio still cuts out every 1 min 50 seconds I'd both buds are being used.
Google support can help try a few basic steps that don't help and then they recommend returning the item.
Very dissapointed..

Great features don't matter if connectivity is poo

I bought these as a Google ecosystem person excited to have them. The features are great with assistant, but man, they connect so bad. I've had to factory reset them numerous times, go through all the trouble shooting tips I can find online, including but not limited to deleting Bluetooth cache, uninstalling and reinstalling apps, factory resetting buds for getting buds reprogramming buds. When I walk outside, with my phone in my pocket my pixel phone, they just cut out constantly. I can't listen to music or podcasts because the connection is that poor. I'm wearing light gym shorts with a t-shirt. Half the time, I can only get one headphone to connect. No matter how many steps I go through to try to get them both connected it won't work. I'm happy some of you have gotten good experiences, but mine has been absolutely awful. When I submitted this info to Google, they responded that they were going to refer it to somebody higher up and get back to me via email. But when I look up online, many people have been told the same thing and that can response within the two week return window. I'm waiting until the last minute to return them, just in case there's a firmware update to fix this.

I got these as a Christmas present. They are terrible. Audio cuts out constantly when I am outside. People cannot hear me when I have them in to make phone calls. When you are outside and on a call or listening to music you cannot move your head without getting an echo between them. Also, When listening to shows on my phone or on a video call like Google Meet or Zoom, they produce a high pitched hissing sound. It is mostly in the right earbud so I have to take it out when I use them for that. I am trying to get them refunded now, but they were a gift and the Google Store is telling me that is a non-option, even to the gift giver's credit card. They want me to mail them back to the gift giver, then have that person call, mail back the earbuds from their address and then they will give them a refund. PLEASE!!! do not buy these. My $30 Tantronics earbuds work better and have less issues. I have a google phone, a chromebook and a google tablet. It works well with none of them

Google should be embarrassed these are still on the market. They drop out constantly. If you enjoy listening to music one beat at a time these are perfect - beat - silence - beat - silence... and so on. That's on the days that they don't just drop out and fail to come back on. Junk. Stay clear.

Absolute worst experience with earbuds at this price range. Beyond tedious and they don't connect (or maybe just one will) 9/10. Do not get these and go for Samsung's, anything but these because they are the worst. Scam of a product.

The connection keeps cutting out to the right bud and sometimes both. No rhyme or reason. Phone is literally 12 inches from buds in backpack. Also phone has full signal and these are paired to a pixel 3 xl. Totally unusable.

I was so excited to get these, and disappointed to find that these have issues with static/background noise. I returned the first pair and then ordered a second in case it was just a faulty pair, but had the same issue. My second pair also had issues with sound cutting out after about 2 minutes. I made sure to restart my phone, do a factory reset of the ear buds, made sure they had the newest firmware update: nothing worked. Returned both pairs and bought the Beats wireless ear buds. Very disappointed in these as they are a great design, but these issues are unacceptable for the price. Also of note, I have a Google pixel 4 phone so you'd think there'd be seamless integration with their own phones.

I bought these because my ears are sensitive to ear occlusion. They worked great but they have a software defect. Do not buy. Left earbud went out and after I tried the resetting procedure it worked once. When the left earbud went out again and I tried the resetting procedure it basically bricked the earbuds. Bluetooth doesn't see it. It seems to respond according to the lights but it might as well not exist. This happened a month into owning them, conveniently after the 15 day return policy. If you own google hardware then you already know what I'm talking about.

I have used a fair amount of wireless earbuds. Prob to many if im being honest, FOMO gets the best of me. I thought given googles track record the pixel ear buds should be as good as the phone. However this was not the case. The Ear buds have some real cool features and prob will be the better of the wireless ear buds in the near future however this version has too many flaws. The ear buds will drop Bluetooth connection with activity on a drop of a dime.

DO NOT BUY THESE!
I've had these since they launched May 2020. Purchased from the Google store. I've had nothing but issues with audio connectivity. Can't go outside and move around without the audio cutting out. Google promised an update would fix them, but unfortunately that update has not fixed the issue.

Worst headphones I've ever owned... Bluetooth connection is horrible and I have a Pixel 3 which is designed for. They cut out horribly and constantly especially if you start walking around. Returned first pair and got a second pair and same issues.... Google had no idea how to fix it... Not worth the money.
