DO NOT THROW AWAY YOUR CARD AFTER YOU REDEEM

I would highly recommend that you take a picture of the card in case you lose it (and keep a note of the code). I made this mistake back in 2023 and have been back and forth with Google Play Support. Basically I have proof of receipt and everything but the code it even shows the $100 in my Google play balance but I cannot use it as if they are mocking me as I rather not be constantly reminded of the $100 I cannot use. This year, I got another gift card as a present. Since I remembered my past mistake, I kept the card and I was given the same "provide proof" but now I have to go through google play support chat again instead of email because they "Thank you for your patience while we reviewed your account. We have identified some inconsistencies with your account and as a result, we are unable to fix this issue with your transaction."

Dissatisfied Customer

Was advised to contact 1-888-716-7994 and they could not help. Was advised to contact Google Play. Totally frustrated and no happy with this purchase.

Ripped off

It had never been activated prior to being shipped, card is worthless. Still says it has $50 on it but can't be activated. Best buy refuses to make it right. Will never buy a gift card online from them again.
