Ive used best buy many times for this but for some reason when i went to redeem it it said it was only a $10 when i did a $25. I went to redeem the code and it said code already used and i never got the money into my Google Play.

Interacts weirdly with the best buy credit card, wasn't able to receive the code for quite awhile.

I don't know what's going on on Google's side of things, but when I tried to redeem the code I received from Best Buy, I received an error "Couldn't redeem code. Gift cards can only be redeemed in the country where they were purchased." I purchased this from Best Buy in the US. The transaction on my credit card reads of a transaction that took place in the US. I have lived here my entire life, so I would have never even had the chance to create accounts (Google, Best Buy, or otherwise) elsewhere. A quick Internet search showed me that this error has happened to many people over the past couple weeks, so it seems to me that at least this is not a Best Buy issue. Still, if you are looking to purchase this gift card now, do some research to see if the issue ever gets resolved. Shame on Google for taking our money and failing to even do gift cards correctly.

Took forever to get the email but otherwise alls well it ends well

The process for redeeming this card is the worst. I have purchased apps in Twitch subscriptions, but now I need to prove my identity when redeeming this card. This is the worst experience I have ever had. I cannot recommend this card. I still have not redeemed this card and I will not even try. I’m I just lost $30 and it’s OK I will never and I mean never try to buy one of these cards again.

Waited for 2 1/2 hours still no cards. I chatted and called and still no resolution. Other times I ordered them and got them immediately this is the second time this has happened I have 2 unhappy grandkids. Going to cancel and order somewhere else

Google PLAY is NOT Google PAY and the two don't interact so don't make my mistake, THIS IS NOT GOOGLE PAY, if you looking for Google Pay this is NOT IT. Google PLAY is useless unless you don't have many functioning brain cells left and given the state of affairs in recent months I'd have to say good luck finding someone with ANY brain cells left. Google PLAY vs Google PAY, a single letter add makes all the difference in YOUR WORLD. I wonder how Google would like it if I started a Company called Google PLAYED. I won't how long I'd be in business before they had my in court for a plethora of things involving Infringement of just about EVERYTHING; yet THEY'RE ALLOWED TO DO IT and no one cares. I care because now I'm out a lot of money that Google will have access to and won't give me crap for it. Don't take my word, visit the Google PLAY Store and see with your own eyes. I have to waste the money before it's shut down and I lose EVERYTHING. I can't stress this ENOUGH, this is NOT Google PAY...

Saving up Google play cards to get to my son for his birthday June 1st.. so I surprised him with hundreds of dollars worth so he can play his five games that he loves . We’re both having problems cashing THEM IN .. I bought these in the past and never had problems up until now so I don’t really know what’s going on I contacted google play with no avail but I want to write this review just so people know that there can be problems with these . IVE bought 1000’s of dollars of these from HERE over last couple YEARS..And I must admit I haven’t had a problem until cashing in these last 10 that I’ve been saving up for my son’s birthday. I’m getting ready to contact customer service about this now. I’m really upset!! Considering I’m a single mother and have to buy one present at a time until a birthday comes by for one of my kiddos. I’ve spent thousands of dollars with Best Buy and I will try and review if this is fixed

Bought Google Play e-cards for my nephew and my son. It ended up being a huge hassle. When each of them went to redeem the cards, Google Play took them to another screen which required an upload of the receipt, as well as the cod3 and where it was purchased. Then, we received a message that we would hear back in a few WEEKS once they confirmed that the e-cards were legit. E-cards are supposed to be convenient - our experience with these was the opposite.

Do not buy google play gift card, they won't honor their product even you have sucessully redeem to your account, they will block and froze your balance so you cannot used it, they also denial your appeal even you can provide proof of purchased, do not waste your money to buy their product, they won't honor it.

Nice and convenient for the kids to use in the Google play store. I don't have to worry about them overspending.
