I didn’t know that I had to pay for this gift card or I wouldn’t of done it it just said it came with the product that I bought when I bought the shield so I assumed it was free and I thought why not then I looked at myReceipt and saw that I paid for a $25 gift card so if I can’t return it which I doubt then I’m just gonna have to give it to my daughter in oh well

Google needs more information to redeem

Bought this, waited a couple days, finally got the code. Went to redeem it and Google insists it needs more information to redeem it. So I sent in everything they ask only to be told it isnt valid. Ive double checked the code etc, nothing. Just lost out on money so that's cool.

Tried to use on family link first for my kids tablet. I redeemed the code on my account then wasn’t able to use it on my kid’s device. I had the geek squad reset the tablet. I set it up as a regular account. I then contacted google to transfer the balance to the new account on the tablet. They said the policy states it can’t be transferred or refunded. I feel like google play is a big rip off.

I bought the card. It got an error when I tried to activate. The google way of reporting the problem terrible. I could not get a response from them. I called Best Buy to try and assist and was transferred through multiple number that could not help and eventually to a google support number that would not allow taking to a person. My only choice is to count this as a $25 lesson to not do this. Never again.

E gift card takes forever

Other sites I buy my Google play e gift cards from I get almost immediately I mean with in 2/3 minutes. Everytime I use best buy for them tho it takes 30 mins to hours before I get it.

I won't be buying gift cards from here again. I've had positive experience in the passed but this time wasn't pleasant. Normally you receive in 30 minutes, this time took an hour if not longer. When I tried to redeem the code the same way I've always had, got an error. Wasted time on chat, wasted time with phone rep all to put $10 on a google account I didn't want to use. Not satisfied with this purchase at all, wasting more money and time all for a $10 gift card.

If buying as a gift..... DON'T
You do NOT get a redeemable code in your email like literally every other company you can buy gift cards from. You have to go through BB's "secure portal" which is an immense hassle to work with when the gc recipient is different from the gc purchaser. It will prompt with questions such as order# and purchasing store (as if the recipient should know those), and will attempt to re-send the portal link to the purchaser's email. It's an infinite loop of going nowhere. Best Buy...... stop trying to make us "safe" by making giftcards impossible to redeem.... just send us the code!!!

Redeems fine into your account. But gets an error when trying to use it in a purchase. google support is absolute garbage and will not even remove the bugged credits let alone actually try to fix the problem. google will steal your money. do not buy digital google cards.
