Excellent streamer with a snappy interface and great features. As an Android phone user it seamlessly integrates into my ecosystem for easy streaming and casting. The remote is a big upgrade from the prior model. Well worth it.

I bought this as a replacement for an aging Chromecast. For me, it's been extremely frustrating. The Chromecast was so simple. Just cast from my phone - done! With this device? Nope! As I've seen mentioned in another user's review, this device annoyingly requires a separate Netflix sign in to the app on the device. I tried removing the Netflix app from the device and casting directly from Netflix on my phone, as I would with a Chromecast, but that did not work. I'm forced to use an awkward arrangement with Netflix logged in both on this device and my phone, and the two sometimes seem to conflict. Even the setup was annoying. I had to search the web and then navigate through layers of settings to be able to control audio from my phone's app. I realize there is a separate "remote" in Google Home, but why should I use that when I'm already in the app I want to cast from? Why not just let me control the very basic functions that I always could, and the only ones I need, like Chromecast used to? Many times I want to throw this device against the wall. The device probably has many features that I'm not using, as others leaving high reviews seem to experience. For me, though, it makes me want to scream in frustration almost daily, and I hate that I feel like I was coerced into getting a device with degraded functionality and charged extra for it.

Had a Google Chromecast & a smart TV originally. Both were slow, and just always had issues with connecting to my Denon Atmos AVR. This is not only a major upgrade, but picture quality even increased. Highly recommend.

My previous generation google tv died just under four years (able to exchange under four year protection plan I bought). The new one does feel faster than the last and very happy with it. The remotes are very light and slippery so you kind of have to buy a sleeve for it on amazon, but no big deal.

Great streamer especially if you have other google products like the google router and cameras.

I bought this unit along with the Onn Pro to be used by my elderly father. Onn had a better device registration and setup process than Google. Speed, performance, remote, and supported devices were all superior.

A solid streamer overall if you're using it for general Netflix/Disney/Hulu type streaming. For those with more specific needs, it may fall short as it's missing some important audio codecs. Overall, a solid performer.

It is really a great product. I tried other products before buying it. But this product is really a professional equipment that solves my problem.

Works perfect. The previous model wouldn't update and started glitching,but this fixed it...and no the issue was not my internet lol

Overall a very similar experience to the cheaper google TV. However the larger remote and the ability to ping the remote when lost are a life saver with toddlers in the house

I don't really have anything bad to say about this product. This is the second one I bought to convert two older TVs into Smart TVs. It is very responsive and the interface is basically identical to my Google TVs. I've had my first one for about 6 months and no signs of lag or anything yet. That was not true of my fire TV box so that makes me happy.

I’m mostly purchased this device in an effort to have a Google Home device that has hub capabilities and was matter and thread capable. I’ve been fortunate to have a few devices that work well with it and I’ve been able to create some routines that I wasn’t able to before. I will say that most of the regular features in terms of Google Home streaming hasn’t proven any different than the interface that I am familiar with on my television. I have several Google Home televisions in my house. It would’ve been nice to have some differentiation or some stand out feature That makes it worth getting over an Apple TV. To me from the brief time that I’ve had it it probably would’ve served me better to stick with my Apple TV.

I have been using both the Google and Ruko devices, and the Google streaming device is easier to find the content I am looking for. The home page has more than just the apps.
