Better than I expected! Outstanding product! Happy I purchased same!

Google TV does arguably have the best user interface compared to other smart TV/streaming devices, however this definitely has some pitfalls. For example, it does not have wifi 6, so I'm homes with many devices, the interference can cause notable latency and occasionally affect video quality. The video decoding times are also not great, but that's only really relevant in the context of gaming, one of the reasons I purchased this item to serve as the client for LAN game streaming.

INCREDIBLE! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I HAVE AN OLDER SAMSUNG TV AND WANTED TO BUY A NEW SONY TV JUST FOR THE GOOGLE OS SYSTEM. TILL I WAS TOLD THAT I CAN USE GOOGLE TV STREAMER AND NOT HAVE TO SPEND 2K ON A NEW SONY TV. I LOVE BEST BUY! KUDOS TO MATHEW D.

If you are upgrading from the Chromecast with google TV 4K, its not worth paying double the price, Agree its faster but not higjly noticeable though double RAM and Ethernet present. Picture amd audio quality is same as previous midel. I have 200 inch screen in a dedicated home theater and didn’t see any difference. Expected a lot with double the price. If looking for a chromecast, better go with older model itself. May be you can go with this if looking to use other options of using othrr than streaming. If its just for streaming, not worth $99

This was an easy setup, very fast response switching from different apps. Works perfectly

I love this google tv device. It was easy to set up and connected to my Google account nicely. But what is really nice for me is the a can connect headphones via bluetooth, so i can hear shows and movies without disturbing the household.

Had a Google Chromecast & a smart TV originally. Both were slow, and just always had issues with connecting to my Denon Atmos AVR. This is not only a major upgrade, but picture quality even increased. Highly recommend.

Awesome Google TV / Android based device. Remote works great to control the TV (power / audio/ input). Having a gigabit ethernet port is great as well.

Works great, upgraded from a 4k Chromecast with Google TV. This seems faster and does not keep turning off wifi like the old one did.

google tv ready and easy to install. i love the product

Its a google product so you never know what to expect. The item is packaged very well. The item was not easy to setup since it connected to my internet easily via the google home app but then my phone couldn't see it after that I need to proceed with manual setup. Device updated and thought everything was working but it is not turning the TV off and on. Once device is setup, I am not able to find where to setup the TV so it will turn the TV off and on when turning the device on. I might need to just reset the device and start over. I am liking that you can have dual profiles on one device though since that was missing on the last google device. Super easy to use and everything is very snappy and fast. I would recommend this device besides the painful setup process.

We got rid of cable and got this to act as our new media hub for YouTube TV and streaming apps instead of using the built-in apps on Smart TV. Easy to setup, quick and snappy navigation, and easy integration into our smart home.

This is one of the best products I have got that and everything Google in the new streamer just has so much space and when it's so smoothly I was quite impressed and definitely would recommend it along with a lot of Google products

I always come away impressed with Google's chromecast and streamer products. One of the best things about this is the layout of content on the home screen, where it gives you easy access to plenty of free tv streaming in addition to the normal apps like netflix, prime, hbo, ect. Where it beats the apple tv: I love the option for ethernet. Where it fails against the apple tv: The interface can get a little stuttery at times. The picture brightness seems to be darker than when I use an apple tv in the same port on my tv.

Seriously good streamer. I have a Shield and a Fire TV Cube and this is a better performer.

Pretty decent streaming box. I appreciate the ability to have express VPN on it, kinda buggy software but hey that's Google. If you're in the ecosystem this is a good buy/upgrade for a Chromecast 4k

Got a second one for the living room and very happy about the the whey it working.
