Took less than 5 minutes to install and it works perfectly. No more satellite for TV. This is my second one and the other one is still going strong. I am a technical dunce so I like the simplicity of this device. I highly recommend it.

I got this Google TV Streamer to replace my old Google Chromecast 4k dongle. The functionality is mostly the same, and I honestly don't notice much of an increase in performance between the two units when it comes to navigating menus, apps, and loading content. The built in Ethernet port has allowed my connection to be more stable, and the increase in built in storage does allow more apps to be downloaded. The biggest improvement between the two is the remote. I love that Google built in a speaker to make it easier to find when lost, as well as a functionally adjustable button to pull up Google home with a single press. Overall, really good product.

I ended up purchasing this product for my Mom who got that JME subscription when TV Japan ended their broadcast on AT&T UVerse. Since our Samsung TV still does not that app, it was so cumbersome to stream it from a phone or tablet. So this devices solves all your problems. I also used it for NBA app as well since Samsung TV does not have that either. Another great feature is watching YouTube videos on it, this device renders the videos really pretty and you can search for items with the intuitive remote that it is packaged with. Setup is a snap, and it automatically imports all your Google settings if you choose to do so.

AMAZING PRODUCT. I USE IT FOR STREAMING MY GAMES SHOWS. NOTHING NEGATIVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS PRODUCT. IMA BUY ANOTHER ONE FOR MY MONITOR AMD PROJECTOR.

One of the best streamers you can get until Nvidia decides to release another product.

I love how integrated this is with my phone and electronic ecosystem. It remembers what I was watching last and I can't get back into it with the click of a button!

It works great and have no complaints. It was easy to set up and has a great interface.

Works pretty good. Just need to learn about it more. The more i use it the easier it shouls be.

But faster! Even includes updated remote and ethernet port.

It is faster because it must be plug to the tv and the ethernet port.

It was the better option for my teen, and lockout from our very curious younger child. As for my teen, since we were already using Family Link for his phone and tablet, this just makes more sense. However, nobody (i.e. Apple or Amazon) can seem to get parental controls right! Still lacking in this department. I have not used it much, but performance seem better than even the latest Firestick. The porcelain color remote tells the truth of what black remotes tend to hide! Yuck. Think back to when computer keyboards and mice were light in color!

Had a Google Chromecast & a smart TV originally. Both were slow, and just always had issues with connecting to my Denon Atmos AVR. This is not only a major upgrade, but picture quality even increased. Highly recommend.

Google is faster, better UI and more options than my firestick. easy to set up and awesome to control with my google home devices!

This is one of the best products I have got that and everything Google in the new streamer just has so much space and when it's so smoothly I was quite impressed and definitely would recommend it along with a lot of Google products

I got tired of my smart TV being laggy etc, so I disabled the functions and have been using googles TV hub since. It is great and super easy to use.

Just got mine today, upgraded from a CCwGTV 4k and after using it I think I am going to return it and go back to CCwGTV. First of all I always had my streaming sticks connected to the HDMI in on my soundbar and had audio passthrough on my Chromecast and my Roku previously and it worked great. This way my sound bar decodes the audio and it works great. Tv always displays if it is DD, DD+, etc. Well the Google streamer does not support audio passthrough whatsoever that I can find and decodes everything. I have it connected to HDMI in on my soundbar and it displays DTHD on my TV for everything even if its PCM audio. Soundbar now only plays PCM out of the 2 stereo speakers where previously using CCwGTV my soundbar would make it into 5.1 surround sound even for PCM, yes it is not real 5.1 but it worked really well and I no longer have that option. Also since the streamer decodes audio I have so many issues with adjusting the volume on my soundbar. When changing channels and apps, I will adjust the volume and it shows it is changing on the soundbar but the volume level stays the same. If you mute and unmute after adjusting the volume immediately changes to that level. Didn't have this issue with CCwGTV. And one more thing i noticed is the viewpoint resolution for YouTube and YTTV is 1920 x1080 instead of 4k. CCwGTV says 1920 x 1080 *2 aka 4k. Is it something to do with android 14 vs 12? Idk but makes no sense it would be lowered. To me this is a downgrade as CCwGTV was not that slow and I never had enough apps to fill up the storage so after being excited about this device I'm now so disappointed.
