I had a chrome cast before this and it’s much quicker than the cromecast

The addition of an ethernet port is a nice touch too.

However, I noticed some lag when navigating menus compared to the Apple TV, which feels quicker and more seamless. It’s a good budget-friendly option, but I’ll likely switch back to Apple TV for better speed and ease of use.

I'm pretty pleased with this after 2 weeks of use.

I bought this because I thought that it might integrate well with "youtube tv" and it does. It also integrates well with other apps and opens apps such as pluto, plex, and Haystack news through the live tv. MGM plus now has surround sound and the streamer works with it. Most older devices such as the latest "apple tv 4k" don't work with surround sound from mgm+. I think the processor may be a bit slow compared to some higher end devices and doesn't have WIFI 6 but does have ethernet and seems to work pretty good. Overall, it seems to me to be a pretty solid product.

Good picture but annoyingly laggy

It's surprisingly laggy. Which is asinine given that it has more memory & a faster processor than the older Google Chromecast TV. Consider an alternative if you have one available?

1. Unplug the power cable from the streaming device.
2. Leave it unplugged for one minute.
3. Insert the cable back into the streaming device.

I can see apps like Netflix, which were not compatible with my old TV, but I can see them now. Overall, no stability issues have been reported so far. Happy with my purchase. A bit expensive for 100 bucks. I think they should have kept the Chromecast option.
